Thread: Our 1st Web Page!!!!!!

My wife has been making earrings from some time now. I was very reluctant to try and start a web site because I thought:
1) they are expensive (hiring a web designer)
2) they are too difficult
3) payments, shopping carts..etc

A buddy of mine from work turned me on to Blue Voda and walked me through the first steps, and along with watching the tutorials..............our site is up. Thanks to my buddy Keith and Blue Voda our site is up and running. Yes it is a work in progress, but now I wonder why I took so long.

It looks great, all of the links seem to work and all of your little cart buttons are there. My buttons go all over the place. Good Job

Lovely job. Nice site and lovely products. I did notice that your pages were untitled (easy to put right in page properties). All the links worked, it loaded quickly even with all those photos. You've done a great job, well done and good luck.

I suggest you try to find some way to categorize the earrings - so you could put them on pages by the categories - and get rid of page two, three, etc. Maybe by type of stone? Or style?

Thanks for your feedback. I have just finished putting the earrings into categories, so it is much easier for the user.

It's easy to navigate and even loads fairly quickly on dial up.

Very nicely done! Love the soft peach background the way you did the navigation top and bottom for convenience. Isn't BlueVoda great! It helps to bring out the designer in all of us:) Oh yes, really nice jewellery too! Good luck with your site and with the jewellery.
