    Hi all,

I hope you all have some time to take a 'buzz' around in my two websites and let me know your thoughts on them. I would really like to know if there is anything not showing etc....the usual. Thanks

    Hi Bee,
The only thing I don't like is the width. Most viewers don't like to scroll sideways so I would advise that you reconsider the width of your pages. Apart from that it looks and behaves just great. Nice work.

Have to agree with Amanda. I'm starting to build in widths of 950-1000 - but even very carefully there - cuz I don't want to alienate the people who still have their screens set at 800. Of course, since my screen is wide, I didn't have to scroll after I opened yours full screen - but I did even opening it in the smaller screen - which my smaller screen is set at 1024! and what I do most of my browsing in.

All the links I tried worked - and the sites look interesting.

    Thank you both,

I keep fogetting that not everyone has huge screens so I 've taken your advice and revamping the width to a 900 to hopefully fit almost everyone with out loosing too much of the look and feel. I'll post again once I'm doe for some feedback. As usual ladies...you have been lifesavers...:)

    Hi Beezz,
Your smaller Screens are looking better, it might be a good idea to
center your pages to avoid the large green areas at the right.

btw: This is the message I received when submitting on your contact page:
    without any text being entered....

Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly.

This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force-cgi-redirect enabled. This means that a page will only be served up if the REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set, e.g. via an Apache Action directive.

For more information about changing this behaviour or re-enabling this webserver, consult the installation file that came with this distribution, or visit the manual page.

Red face Re: Comments on both websites appreciated

    Hi David,

Thanks for the tips. When you say center, do you mean within the parameters of my page or on my 17inch screen. I have centered within the parameters of the page and I have found that people with larger screen will see the extra green space and those with smaller screens won't. Not sure f this is what you mean. Checking the e-mail form also...could hae sworn there was no problem with that...hmmm...

Muchas Gracias por todo (give me a chance to practice a little spanish...I'm assuming Spain...spanish...lol)

    Hi Bezzz,

Looks good but on site #2 you have some overlapping down at the bottom of your page.

The ror file doesn't need to be on the page at all - should be in the info for the se's like the meta.

    Hey everyone,

thank you all for the wonderful comments and I think I have almost all corrections made. First Lieu. allstarsface...jolly good suggestion and I'll incorporate ASAP. I think I will record the story and put it as file foryounger kids and the physically challenged...it was something I was thinking of and will get to work on it. Andy128...my guru... ( not that I'm dissing anyone else...everyone has been topnotch)...if you can direct me as to how to add an attachement section to my form so kids can upload their art I would really appreciate it. I was trying to figure it out but not sure I was doing it right.

Cheerios everyone...must go finish story for my teach...lol

    Beezz,

Thanks for the confidence- however, I have not figured that out yet. It is on my list of things to learn. If you haven't been given an answer when I figure it out- I'll be sure to give you a hand.

    Take care-

    Hi Beeeeee

Just to let you know I have just tried the contact form and it worked fine, I like the thankyou page I'll have to show it to my little (slightly ill) girl! I don't know if anyone else had the same problem with forms today because I know I have.
I hope you get the upload for the kids up and running that would be fantastic!

    Cheers

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Thank you...I loved the two little dancing children gif...it's my fav. I hope your daughter feels better and I would love to have her send me anything she's drawn to be my first guest artist. this is a kids site so I don't expect masterpieces...just kids showing wht they can do art wise whether it is digital, paintings, drawing, stick figures etc. If she does want to send me her work (when she is feeling better), I think if you can probably send it to me through regular email to my contactme@beezkidzworld.beezworld.com and it should come through...I hope. I'll have to try it myself and see if that works for now.

By the way love your sight...I took archery in college and absolutely loved it...I'll be checking back on your site to see what's up in the archers world.

Thanks everyone for the comments...and don't be shy and keep them coming.

    Hi Bee,
My kids love nothing more than to do a picture with microsoft paint and then print it out! If Jill's upto it tommorow it would be great if she could do something to send to you, she'd really like that! If Andy's busy i may be able to help you with your upload fileds as I've been on a long upward learning curve in the last few weeks! My other site has a long form with two photo upload fields, which I'm now happy work perfectly, if you want me to have a go at adjusting the script for your needs let me know.

Thanks for comments on English warbow, stay tuned I'm working on the gallery (featuring my new outragous warbow) and one our two other bits and bobs.
    Cheers nick

    Hi Bee,

if you design the upload page, as you have you're contact page and put all the bits and bob's in you want, then email me via the contacts page at www.yourlocal.org.uk with the link and then i'll put together the php script! Shows you what this place is all about doesn't it? A month ago i'd never heard of php and here I am trying to help someone else who I've never met! I'll give it my best shot, if I get it wrong then Andy or Naval Design will come to the rescue.
    Fun isn't it

I like your site for kids. Once I complete mine I would like to add you on my links page with your permission. I have not set it up yet but will have my site up and running completely with all my product line. For now I have added majority of my childrens books. Please keep in touch. And if you wish to send me a small banner with link, by all means please do. I'll add it to my site as soon as I ad all my products. Keep up the good work. BTW, Bee's are my favorite and I wanted a honey bee template. But decided to stick with standard. So if you want my bee template. I'll send it to you. haha. Great for posting kids art work. I think it would look cute on your website. It's yours for the asking if you want it. Has a spring color theme for photos only. Take care http://www.toysandbooks.net

    Hi Laindia,

Thank you and I would love to reciprocate by linking to your site vice. I love your site and what it has to offer. Hopefully one of my books will be in your site one day. I want kids to have a chance to explore their own world and your books do that.
By the way...I would love the template..thank you so much. I dont have a banner ...but would love to know how to make one and would love to keep in touch. I'm excited about the whole thing and can't wait to get my site fully operational. Buzz you later.
