Thanks for your suggestions. The page width thing is a mystery to me. I did as you suggested and decreased width to 900 from 1300, but now on my screen it is way offset to the right. Any tutorials I dont know about that could straighten this out for me? Thanks again for your help

If your original screen was 1300 and you have not adjusted/moved page items more to the left, then you get that type of result.

Try moving/narrow all the items to the left and then save (800) and straight away check the page width again.......

If page width has increased again from 800 it means that you still have items
too far to the right.

Anyway i found how to put the guide on by sheer luck!..it might help you to try this

First set your page properties...right click on an empty space on your page go to page properties and set your width to 800 ...you can ..centre in browser there to once youve done that click ok....then

Go to the top of the page click on Layout..then go down to Guide settings and set to ..show border guide ..i also click on.. show grid.. once youve done that you will see a dotted line down the right hand side of your page ..this is your guide ..keep everything within this line and thats it...done

I made many mistakes also, I went the otherway to the left. I just learned how to center from Linda. Wow, Thanks

Thankyou,thankyou,thankyou...It looks like that did it. I only did the home page so far, but it worked, at least on my screen...dead center with 800 wide. Every item has to be moved individually, I assume?

You did it! ive just had a look ...well done and glad i could help.

Sometimes they have to be moved sometimes just setting to 800 and centering in the browser does the trick but now you know hwo to do it it really wont take you long at all :o) trick is not to go over your guide line.

Yes, as a matter of fact I do love it when FINALLY it works. All the frustration of the process disappears. To gueorgui, thanks for looking at the site. I only did the first 3 pages, getting the rest done is the project for the night.

Yes, it looks good. On my browser (SlimBrowser) from Methods page onwards the pages jumped over to the right and caused me to sideways scroll :o(( I also noticed some pages were untitled. Apart from that - you've done a great job. Well done.

On the our ministry page your border is overlapping your text. I assume you are still working on this since the other pages aren't centered yet. Looking very good!!
