Thread: publishing my pages

I have publish my pages, can someone tell me how to get the site online, so that it can be viewed by the public, when I type in the website name a directory comes up , not the site itself.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

If you cannot see the pages you have published then you need to DOUBLE CHECK that:

you have named your pages correctly;

you have published your index page which should be called index all in lower case.

you have spelt everything correctly;

you have not used capital letters instead of lowercase;

you have not used - instead of _;

you have published to the correct directory.

If you are still having problems - then come back and open a new thread in the 'Publishing Problems' Forum and tell us your URL so that someone can check it out and help you.
