I am not much of an expert, but as an ordinary net user, I would say the site looks, feels and works absolutely brilliantly. VERY NICE.

Ez-ez:

As a web user you have the advantage of not building aspects in you site that are things you don't like. I dislike side scroll bars. I have my puter configured to 800 x 600 for visual reasons. The same reason I don't use
font under 12 for things I want read.

David:

The side scroll bar is only 1/4 inch away from non existance, very little text rearangment would do the trick and make it better and simpler with one less thing to do. The people with 1200 w have no idea what I'm talking about.

Circuspet: I ALWAYS leave a little room at the bottom of my pages and sometimes I go over the 800 width mark.....these items are not set in stone...
If you dont like scrolling then dont....Having your screen set at 800 means that you could be missing a lot of good sites ????

I have scanner software that recomends 800 X 600 format, yet their read me page is formated to the wider screen. and the whole wide screen thing
reminds me of the rides at Disneyland. The ones you can't get on if your not as big as the sign. If I were as big as disneyland I wouldn't worry about turning people away. To make a site uncomfortable for some is not something I would do, but........... it's your site.

My mind set is set in stone (testa dura) and almost as dense. lol

Hi david had a question about the button...

Have you changed it to blue voda or is somthing going on as its not coming in on firefox its just showing words. this morning ardvark or whatever was their and later the top of vodahost and now text?
just wondering is all.

Also just how accuret do you think that the counter being used is? the other directories are showing 100 or more daily hits and this one only 30 or 40? is there somthing im missing here?

Hi Malcomb, we are off subject in this thread but I will answer you now.

You mentioned different buttons so I am trying out a new PNG program I bought to try to improve the look for everyone concerned.

So to everyone, please bare with me as the topsite is only a couple of weeks old and is still Work in Progress. We have had over 25,000 page views in that short time so its worth being patient for the improved version.

Regarding stats:

The counters are set to server time so there will be time differences in each country.
But ALL pageviews(i.e. whenever the button is loaded) are counted.

Malcolm, check your AW stats for the button jpg............

Everything seems to be fine now, David. I like the scrolling browser...is that the png you spoke of? Hmmmm. Pretty neat.
