Ok, you'll need to be a hockey fan for this website, I haven't seen many sports sites on here, if there are others, I'd like to see ....

I'll warn you ... season is just beginning and the site is full of info and photos .... there are alot of pages .....

Also, try taking the bold off players names, might be easier to read.

Thanks guys and gals ... I've taken the bold off the player's names, I am assuming you are talking about the index page where the team photo is and as well I took it to size 14, see if you think that is any better ... I added the NHL Link ... great idea ... since for some, hopefully this is a stepping stone to the NHL, well you always have to think positive,
ha ha on the rules, are there any, lol, well of course there are, but there are so many and I believe we follow Hockey Nova Scotia rules, as well as Hockey Canada rules, and I have both those links there so it may be too difficult to just find just one page of rules ... but maybe it is the referee signs that they use and whatnot at the game which would be nice to have, and that gives me the idea to do that, I like that, I'll see what I can come up with ...

Your site is set up very well. Your navigation was easy to read and easy to find. Nice colors. The pictures are placed in appropriate places. The links I tried all worked. Even though you have a lot of stuff on yur site it appears neat and well organized. Bravo....

What a great site. I love sports and hockey is a personal favorite. I wish you had designed the Florida Panthers' site. Awesome job, all links worked for me and the colors match as well. Nothing much I could add except to say VERY WELL DONE!

This is great guys and gals, I appreciate it, there will be plenty of hockey pics and video clips (fights) coming up after this weekends camp, so be sure to check back if you are interested in that stuff, I video it with my eyes closed, lol, just to tell you I really appreciate your comments.

I've found the rules and added those as well Mr. Cigar, oops, :) I mean Bill (j/k) and it was the new rule emphasis that is out for this year so it was a very important item ... thanks for the tip

A word of caution to those with a guestbook, if you go into fantastico and it says to update, don't hit upgrade, I had a dilemma all day, solved it the old fashioned "red green" way ... not properly done, but it's working and my entries are all back there ... :)

For this I used a small piece of just gold and I stretched it in length and reduced it in width, you just need to be careful how far you stretch it lengthwise so that you do not distort it too much. So it's actually all pieced together.

Wow ... now I am the one who is speechless, (well sort of I am usually never lost for words). I really really appreciate what you have all said, it really means alot to me. Yes, I have spent alot of time on the site, I do it for the players, I do it for the fans, I do it for the parents that are not near our town, they can watch their son through the lens of my camera, I do it for the club, and I do it for myself, I do it volunteer, No Pay. My reward is someone telling me I do a good job and you people have given me more than a year's worth. I thank you all again. And David I shall join the topsites index, I am assuming I will find the link here somewhere and thank you for including the site in the showcase. I joined Blue Voda late June and I am still learning everyday, without this program none of this would be possible. It's fabulous and I love it. I'll be a lifetime member!!

The first thing I noticed beyond the great color (love the metalic). was
that some of the pages dress right and some dress left. Since the page width is just over 800 the horizonal scroll bar needs to be moved left on some pages and right on others. It would take very little tweaking to slim them down, and then they could all be the same.

You've got me thinking about your posted definition: Thinking you must have your terms confused.......Heavy VS. Dence....and now I'm thinking that this Multitasking ( writing and thinking ) Is too heavy for someone so dence.....Still waiting to see the photo tricks.....Going back to your site

hmmm ... well I like Bill, am an avid Tea Drinker ... coffee has never been my thing ... English Breakfast my flavor and of course, Red Rose "Only in Canada they say" ....

I've been real busy, the club is going through try-outs at this moment, so it's a grueling 18 - 20 hrs a day work ....

Photo tricks - ha ha ... don't think I have any tricks up my sleeve for those, only meaning I am taking plenty photos throughout try-outs ....

Circus-Pet, can you identify a couple of the pages you are referring to so that I am able to figure out the problem ... the screen resolution on my computer is set at 1024 by 768 ... I have my pages all set at 1000, centering at 800,(or so I think) I have no scrollbar on any of my pages from my view so maybe I just need to reset all my pages to 800 instead of the 1000,? (What I've actually done is set the page properties to 1000 and set my template for my page at the 100 mark on the left and the 900 mark on the right - maybe that is the problem ????) hmmm ... help me here ... I may be a while getting back to you, a busy hectic day and night ahead of me .... thanks for your assistance with any help you can provide ...

In a word: Persbyopia.... an eye afliction that affects most people over 40, requiring the inflected to wear reading glasses to read small print.

By setting your page properties to 800 w and your font to no smaller than 12,you will not only make it easier on your LadyEyes, but will make your site more comfortable and more accessable to your older viewers ( Mums, Fathers, and Grands ) eh.

P.S. Setting your screen resolution to 800 X 600 helps too

Hi Steve .... thanks for your comments and the 3d fonts and shadows is a real easy procedure and you can make your own available free at flaming text, i used the animated burn in technique if you are referring to the words on my main page "22 Ticket" color red, background none, all settings here at this site, you can change colors, fonts, sizes, and it only takes a few minutes to make your image, and then you save it to your computer http://www3.flamingtext.com/net-fu/d...n-in-anim-logo

I take my own photos and I use the image resizer available free here at blue voda ... not sure of the link to get it, maybe someone could jump in here and supply that for you ....

all my photos are originally somewhere between 700 & 1000 kbs (2000 x 1500) and I reduce them down to around 400 x 300, having 50 or so kbs for pics and I find I can add as many as 100 or more to the rotator at a time and load time does not seem to be a problem for viewers.

Don't ever tug on your photos, (or if you do very little and only at the bottom corners) once you have them placed on your page, tugging in an uneven direction will cause distortion, so stick with the size that it hits the page with ... or resize again in the image resizer, you can add a frame around your photo by using the border and any color right in blue voda, right click on your picture and you will see where, you can line your photos up on top of each other for a dramatic look, as you add another just move it to the front, I've done some layering like this in my alumni section, using the mouse over effect is cool too, I used this for a fight picture, it shows them starting to fight and mouseover shows the results (bloody - ew) .....
