Header finally

Aloha, after many, many hours I have decided on this header that I designed on my own. Please give me feedback on how I can improve it. I set the screen for 800 but it will not stay there so it always looks uncentered. Does anyone know how to make it stay at 800?

Yes, it needs centerted and you need to checks your links. Great photos.

Ditto above plus,
-Titles for pages
-Location of links are not clear, some underlined words do not have links and one phrase does - this creates confusion.
-On page size and off centered text, check placement of your text box in BV and use Layout> Guide Settings. Page properties has a box to check "center in browser"

You did pretty good. Did you know that when your building your webpage in BlueVoda, you can insert a shape and apply the banner/header color you used and get a smoother banner/header background? More colors would make it look more tropical and inviting.

When you click on the pictures they go to a broken link, not sure if you removed the page or the links are broken ...

There are several spelling errors on the page, check this while you are viewing the page in your browser, go to file in your toolbar and hit edit with microsoft frontpage, this will squiggly underline your words that need fixing .... then you will see and be able to fix them.

Tropical music would add flavor to your main page ...

Good Start like the colours. Just had a look at your source code, your aqua2.gif is 1152 wide, so even though your page is 800 wide that element goes over the page. Reduce its width and make sure nothing else over shoots the 800 mark and the centering will be fine.

Hey Scuba Diver:

Your site intrigues me a great deal and since you were having some difficulties with your links on your header and everything, I just thought I would play around with a bit of graphic that maybe you will like or maybe you won't like ... you can use it if you like, the size is 798 x 298 and you could use it as a header on all your pages ... like I say I just played around, I won't take any offense if you don't use, please don't take offense to my offering though ... lol ....

Good Luck, would love to go to Hawaii, I know where to find the best way to go though!!

I love the graphic but when I inserted it, I could not enlarge it. Too grainy. I need a bigger pic. Nice graphic though. Keeping sending them.

Glad you like it, you should not have had to resize it at all, it was made in the 800 width and would get grainery with enlarging, I could be wrong at this, certainly no expert here, I call myself "Rookie For Life" but it's the way I made my headers and added them to my page just in that original size .... What size were you thinking you would like to use? Let me know, I don't mind trying again ...
