The Escort Cosworth
cant see it properly mate
the pic on front page a bit blurry and small maybe use the right size and a bit bigger so i can see
also the font and size of in the parts etc is a bit hard to read to maybe something more universal some times a good font too small is ahrd to see for me any way
i also feel the text needs to be broken up a bit like start a paragraph with highlighted text like COSWORTH BUMPER rear spoiler etc etc
so its eassier to pick out just my thoughts

apoart from that i love it but cos im a brit and grew up with cossys all around and love cars so hey all the power to you man

just had an idea why not offer a weekly repair section like say how to fit a clutch in a cossy sirra or something like that brings people back or show a car from scratch and take us through it week by week with pics etc i love that stuff would be nice to see the progression just a thought good luck

G'day Daz..

The site looks neat.. of course there are things that can be improved.

I agree wih allstar entirely, those blue italic subheadings are a reader's nightmere.. very difficult to read.

Same on the picutres issue.. It look to me that those pictures are originaly huge and you resized them in BV.. Try using a pixsizer.. Pictures resizers will do the job. Given that the pictures are stitting on the background direct, consider adding a 1px black border, you can do that in the image properties in BV. A small border may crisp the image more and make it sharper.

On the 'About us page" I suggest taking the text back to justified mode without the tab in the begining of paragraphs.. Also, on all pages, I would suggest spacing paragraphs with a blank 'enter'. This is paritularly important when using smaller font sizes, say 7 to 12pt.

The site is crisp and positive.. very simple to navigate and very informing.. I am hoping that in the future you would include imagery illustrations as you obtain them.

Your menu buttons are cool and suit the theme.

Over all, you've an exceptional job and this can only get better from here.

Cheers.

The type is a little small a little hard to read . On your links buttons the type is no all the same on every page (ex) cosworth not capitalized on about us page . The front page picture is not the best visually maybe try differnt angle for shot like the other pics have . But it really is easy to navigate and looks professional.

Thanks for the input folks, i see where your coming from with pictures, i'm gonna have a go with the pixsizer, hopefully that will give clearer images.

The font is a little small, i think i will go make it larger and do away with the itallic headings.

Allstar - some good input there, i like the idea of the rebuild pages / jobs to do pages, i agree i think it would keep people interested !

On the pictures side of things, can it be made so folks can click on the picture for a larger image ?

Thanks to all for any views, it really does help me out, i want the site to be visually attract but it needs to be eligable too, i like the navigation, like you say , simple but effective !

Now it's up i just gotta get it more viewer friendly.

Daz

well i spent a few hours on it last night, trying to get everything more eligable etc, looks better in my opinion.
Thanks for the thumbnail info, i'll be trying that tonight, plus i think i'll dedicate a page to each car we have for sale with more detailed info and pics linking from the services and parts page !
I linked my ebay account on the home page but haven't worked out how to link the email as yet, i had a look but it was getting late :)

Couple of comments
Linking the email just takes patience, but contact button is essential.
regarding buttons - the black text is alittle difficult to see, maybe a lighter one?
Am fascinated by the text, is well written and interesting. Having said that, maybe paragraph headings would break it up a bit, and make info easy to find, or catch interest?
Keep on keeping on, looks good..
