Hi .... your site is very nice looking and loads quickly, easy to navigate around too ... While I like the use of gradient in your pages, I find that the black text at the top of some blends in with the black of the gradient page ... maybe change the text in those areas to white as you have done throughout the site in places ... it looks nice and will be much easier to read ...helping out the planet, one potato at a time - this bit of text on your index page is a littler further to the right than your area for it, you just need to move your text box over to the left more... http://www.driftlessorganics.com/crops.html - on this page you have sideways scrolling, you might want to fix that and keep that page width within the boundaries you have set for your other pages ......buy local and eat seasonally... again this text is just a little too far to the right, might need to reduce the font size here as space to the left is not very much. You have some underlining here and there, and underlining is customary for linking, consider linking that text or removing the underlines. http://www.driftlessorganics.com/cropaganda.html a bit of sideways scrolling on this page as well ... You might consider changing your links to white, the blue is hard to read in some areas, you can change this by right clicking and selecting page properties and you will find the tab so that your links can be a chosen colour .... On your links page ...helping out the planet, one potato at a time...this needs to be moved to the left a little as well, in keeping it within the frame you are using for your pages .... You've done a great job on your site, and your photo pages loads very quickly ... Excellent looking site!! Congrats!

Nice concept, Some of the text links are hard to read, i.e. Monona Terrace. Ditto Holly's comments on color.

I gotta tell you, I love it, you need to get rid of the scroll and check your links, and I do agree with the above......But it is so cute....One potato at a Time! LOVE IT

looks good but the first photo is a tad to far over to the left and this ...Helping out the planet, one potatoe at a time is to far to right.

from the "crops" page the "about us" nav button doesn't work also you need to fix on a consistant size for the width of your pages, some pages need a scroll others don't - also agree about the black on top of your pages, - maybe start out with it a little lighter - dark gray? the shading looks good, but hard to read otherwise very well laid out and presented |

forgot to say that perhaps you want to put an explanation of "Driftless" somewhere on your site. I am a geologist so I understand, but many people will not... Saludos!

My cousin Paul just visited (from your neck of the woods), and he too, is an organic farmer. Take a look! (You can see him in the picture on this page and in this article) Looks rather scruffy, doesn't he? A new look, apparently....LOL I tried to convince him of the benefits of coming over to VodaHost, especially with all the wonderful technologies to install on a website such as a Forum.....apparently, the association needs some kind of memebrship communication devices, and it would also become a regional consumer resource too.....I suppose the two of you know more about that..... I'm looking forward to seeing how you finish up the site!

You have a nice start and like the concept. There do seem to be some problems with the text looking a bit off center, could be the colors behind. Really like your work and the photos are very nice, clean and clear. Great looking produce. Ditto the above and good luck......VASILI that is the article on the left in the newspaper, right? Whew! |
