Default Please check my page width...

Before I attack all my files I need to know if 'index' looks OK for width.
I'm trying to keep it as wide as possible without overdoing it. I've published as 'center in browser' but it doesn't show up centered in mine.
Thanks everyone for all the invaluable help. Beth, the keyword digger helps SO much.

Marcie!

Psignomen.....you should only post one thread per website in this "Showcase" forum (per the Rules above).

You could have merely posted this new "review request" in the same thread as a new post, and you would have had your peers respond accordingly....

Sorry about that. I was afraid everyone would be too bored to scroll all the way down to see my request. I'll go back and review the rules so it doesn't happen again. Is my page width OK?

I have centered it on 'page properties' and it's not seeming to work.
Anyone know what the problem might be? Only 'index' and 'hotel' are marked 'center page in browser' at this point. Thanks
Marcie

Double-check your page width (in Page Properties)....even though you may have "centered it" if the page width has not been reset, it will use an incorrect setting to define your page margins.

Hi Marcie,

The reason you cant get it centred is because some of your page borders to the left are slightly wider than the others, anything that goes over the width that you have set will result in a sideways scroll...try making your borders slightly more narrow and maybe a smaller font .. you need to resize some of your pics to ..ive done this to show you...this is done in 800 width...hope that helps

Hopefully, this is the last time I have to ask for reviews this week...(;>)
I have incorporated most of the suggestions I recieved over the last 2 days. I have kept my pages quite wide but I believe they will now fit on most browsers - please let me know if you are forced to scroll right-left.
Thanks to everyone for your help, you guys are great..

Hi Marcie,
You still have a few pages in slight need of scrolling, but you are SO close! Spathalado, About us, and Marinade rubs. I'm thinking if you were to make the font on the left just a tiny bit smaller, you could pull in the page just enough that it would sit perfectly. Visit the Farm, Products, Gift sets, and the tractor photo could be tightened a bit.
Wonderful site.
I have 1024X768 resolution.

Beautiful! Now, go to page properties, (right click on a blank part of the page), and adjust each page width to 800. Save, and republish. That will get rid of the blank space to the right side of the pages, and you are good to go girl!
I'm happy to help where I can...I'm still learning myself...I"ve received so much valuable help from the forum and it's good to be able to reciprocate in some way.

Your color is good but your images are overwellming. Also you must have a larger flat screen, the pages are a little too wide. I would try to keep them at 800px. and center them in the browser.

If you have any elements on your page that are outside of the '800 width this will also affect your page size.

I have sideways scroll on 1400 resolution and a 20" monitor ...

We'll keep checking for you ....
