Just attempted to publish 5 pages. Thought they were linked. Where did I go wrong???

They are there and the links are working....you need to centre your pages though

I agree with Linda, centre your pages and also, did you want each link to open a new browser window?

your links is showing as http;/arlenegreenportraits.co//wwww.arlenegreen.....

change the semicolon to a colon and fix the link address to where you want it to link. That is the only link that is showing as broken.

all of your text, images, links etc need to moved left and then the page needs to be centered a good page width is 800 but can go up to 1000 if necessary
i tried the links and they kept returning me to the home page - as Choco777 says your links need to be redone http://www.arlenegreenportraits.com/thenameofyourpage.htmlthen they should work watch the colons and slashes and periods

Something you might want to consider... is muting your page color. Red is very hard on the eyes and it may detract from your artwork. Other than that... the suggestions from the group are good ones. You have a very good start... good luck

-The White box behind the NavBars don't do you justice
-Check spelling "Characature" is Caricature
-Your pages are not titled

Hi Again,

Been looking at your site and I have to agree with Dori that the background colour is to much, especially if your going to put art work on there, hope you dont mind but ive been having a mess about and made a sample to give you some ideas.

It would also help you a great deal if you set your page guides and set your page widths, if you click the link below this will sort that out for you.

I agree that the white background on the links need to be changed. It was the first thing that hit me on opening the page.

It is all trial and error and I think Lincslady has a really nice look for you there. You will get there though with the helpful people on here.

Thanks everyone! Lincslady, "howdja doo dat?" I''m back to the drawing board this morning and will try to get this thing right. Bill2006 : my face is red over that misspelled word . . . I used to be a proofreader! But that was many years ago so am I entitled to a "senior moment"?

I'll send you the blank template, it will all be locked, just go to edit and unlock all, then you can move the shapes about and right click on them and see how its done ok...ive resized your image to, just right click and save to your bv images folder....have fun :o)

Lincslady: Sorry, I haven't got my e-mail set up yet. That's my next task for today. But right now I have got to figure out how to get rid of an index page I no longer want nor need. I went in to redo that red page and put in a template. Don't like it now and need to go with another home page design. My original page is coming up "untitled" and the unwanted one just sits there and won't go away! Any input there? Thanks.

Just open a new blank page and do the new design...once you publish ..your new one will overwrite the old ones.
