What do you think of the new look?

I did show this site a while back and decided I wanted a whole new look with a different colour scheme etc. I just want an opinion on the look and not really the content as this was pointed out last time. I may add the odd bit of graphics and need to do the titles, descriptions etc...

Completly new look Paul, you have streamlined the look and feel of the site.

The new additions fit right in..........well done, I like it.

Paul, have a look at that page that I posted and if you have 4 photos/pics
that I could use, we can work out a couple of pages for you based around the look of your own site...................

Clear site, easy to navigate, fairly straightforward, good job.
I wonder if you might want to add alittle color,though. I know you are doing the B & W thing on the page, but I think if I was going to have you do a page for me I would like to see that you have a good handle on color choices on your own page..
Oh, and I almost forgot, on the portfolio page you have used white text for links to your other sites, and I can hardly see it - you might want to go for another color with more contrast for your links.

Glad you posted the new link Paul, I of course was commenting on your anxiety site...........

I agree with Liz, black and white is effective, but colour can add to the depth and cosy feeling of a site.

The white text needs changing as noted also by Liz...............

Thank you for your comments, yes I agree fully about changing the colour of the text links (That was not done on purpose as they showed up different before I published, but my mistake) and I may add a little colour, constructive as usual.

Hey Paul just noticed another thing. On the home page you have the text justified so the margins are even (I don't know what it is called, but is the 'other' one, not left- or right- or center- justified) and that is good, but the whole text box should be centered so the margins look even all around.
And on the other pages you might want to do the same kind of justification - it has a much more professional feel than the other justification types, I think.

Looks really nice..ummm jsut one question...would a soothing color like a light sea blue be more conducive to your site as you are about anxiety...it really isa question as i'm curious to know. I've aften heard colors pla ya big part in helping reduce stress.

But other than that on curiousity...great job and very clean easy to navigate site.

Thanks Lara, I have justified and centred the text, one problem is the pricing page will not let me do this, if you look at it, then it is still to right and will not change no matter what I do, any idea why?

I skipped the other comments - will read them after I type this - but I don't like the header, finding it hard to read. And while I'm a great fan of black and white and how it can be used effectively (especially in photos) - this just looks to me like a page of text - which would not catch my interest at all. I prefer the old look and feel. And I don't associate website design with the computer photograph so much - so I liked it when you took that off before.

But - this is my taste - and if you got rid of the page changing colors as it goes down, I might like it better - it actually almost starts looking dirty to me.

However, you also changed some text and headings on the page which is going to effect you with the se's and I don't think is going to grab people's attention either - so that I'm going to be more critical about! You've taken away the title on the home page and you've made a headline that isn't going to help.

Okies, sorry in advance - but I'm not a fan of this - don't find it at all visually appealing -

Now, I'm going to send, then will read the other comments.

Don't worry about Titles and descriptions for the time being I have to add these as stated above. I actually did not like the other colours and look of the site and do prefer this one. I will though make it clear that it is only a landing site for the odd word of mouth, forum etc..... and I am not bothered too much about seo, it is more of a hobby than anything. A place people can get their first site up and running and will never be a business as such.

I may have another tweak at it, oh well seems what I don't like others do and vice-versa.
