I signed up with BV a week ago and a complete novice, but I'm really enjoying setting up my first website. I have a couple of friends in Addo, the elephant capital of South Africa and after a couple of "ice colds" we decided to start an adventure site for the region, trying to provide valuable info to the quickly growing amount of tourist coming to Addo. I'm a "beer salesman" who enjoys computers, so i took up the challenge. I'm awaiting a bit of article information but the site is 3/4 complete. Please have a look and let me know what you think:

Hi, bit to much going on for my eyes. Three lots of scrolling text & the image viewer set to strobe. Think it may want to come down a touch. Will pop back later.

Agree with Chris - hard to see with so much going on. The white text in the frame is hard to read on the bw background, adn the pictures are changing so fast you don't really get a chance to look at them. Good start, though..

There is a bit much going on... Great idea though. The bold white text on black is hard on the eyes in your 'bike adventure' box. Your 'article' text is easier to read... maybe you could use the same elsewhere? Great photos but slow them down...very distracting when you are trying to read and hard to enjoy when you are looking at the pictures. I definitely agree with Liz and Chris. You are doing well for your first time... but remember 'less is more'! Good luck

I too agree with Chris, maybe slow down the photos. Some of your links aren't working and the background on your main page makes the text a little hard to read......Now that I have said all of that......I still love it and if you would like to have a free add on my site it would be my pleasure to add you. www.thebarefoottraveler.com |
