Very Nice work so far. I do have one suggestion, sometimes your fonts go very very small on some pages, and I think personally, you need to go with a more universal sized font on all the pages. The smaller font is harder to scan and read and I have the urge just to click off unless im very interested in squinting. The consistency will give it a more polished professional look as well in my opinion.

Much appreciation to everyone for your encouraging feedback. Karen, I've increased the font size; I hope it's easier to read now...!

Many thanks,

Hi, not sure on the image on the front page. The style is fine, just not sure the quality is that great. It feels like the image has been pulled around a bit in a previous life, because when you view image it is the same. Can you post the original image of the center area.

Chris, I'm not sure what you mean by 'when you view the image it is the same.' The same as what?

Thanks,
Sandra

Hi! Sorry! It’s my bad English grammar, (& I was born here) lol.
I should have said that it feels like the image has been pulled around by the tags to make it smaller. (Which it has) When you look at the image on the page, it has crinkly lines around the face & lapels on the jacket. If you view the image on it own in another page the image looks fine. The image wants physically reducing in size using a program & not the tags.

Good luck.

Looks really great. Very proffesional. I was wondering though, you have a conserts page under constr., but you have concerts listed on the events page. Will the concerts page, be for pics of the concerts, or other new concerts? Seems like double duty right now. I do like the site!!

I like the layout. looks clean and concise. I did find some pages the text ran off of the template and background. Examples were on the Reviews and Student Achievements pages. Good luck.

Well Done!

Thanks, everyone, for your valuable comments and suggestions. Each one right on the mark, and I've made the necessary changes. Also, I've replaced the picture on the Home page, and put "Listen" buttons where the links were on the My Music page.

Your opinions are always welcome!

Thanks again,
Sandra

Love your site. It is very attractive. The only thing is I feel it is too wide. I had to scroll over and then when I did, there wasn't anything there. Also like it was mentioned before, on some pages the fonts are a different size and it would look much better if they were all the same size on each page.
Great job.

Lynda,

Thanks for your input. Yes, Karen Mac said the same thing about the different font sizes. I'm not sure what you mean, though. The only page that has a different font size (except for the footnotes in the About page) is the My Mission page, which is intentionally different (and unfortunately, a font that not everyone has). All other pages are Arial 10 pt. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Sandra

Hi,
Something I noticed was that your pop up images in your gallery need optimising. You can have just as good quality with much smaller file sizes and the consequence is that the images will load much quicker. Also, give them meaningful titles so that will give pertinent info when the image loads. Regards and good luck with your site.

Hi Sandra,
few notes, :
1) your index page is a little to big, you have some white space at the bottom of the page which you don't need. Also, I will put the text of your mission page in the index page with the a smaller picture of Randall.
2) Your menu bar is huge comparing to the text, it is better that you reduce it, or you can use text to hyperlink your pages, you find it at the top right of your bluevoda browser. I have use it in my web : www.mediterraneotanzania.com
3) Some pages are with a very little tex, but some have a lot of informations, may be if you can try to put together two pages like " my mission" & " My music", you will have less navigation bars.
4)In the page artisan to artist, you have double the menu bar " top page".
5)In the gallery page, will be nice to see Randall in concert, instead of pictures of him alone, and try the light box is a beatifull way to show a sequence of pictures.
6) Make the text bigger at least " arial 10", is to small.

These are just my ideas, I think you have started very well, and this little issues I am talking about, they will came at your attention probably after few weeks of you viewing and reviewing your job.
If you need any help just continue posting, we are all here to help eachother.
Ciao
Alas
