Uploaded website index page and then a second page that should show after clicking the English language button on the main page. Result is: zilch, niente, nada, nothing, rien du tout, niks... Only a 404 error message. Obviously I did somenting wrong but am unable to figure out what. Yes, I went through the tutorials btw. Still have no clue. All assistance from BV profi addicts is more than welcome, Thanks in advance. Check at: www.tierrasourcing.com Second page is called: importinfoe.html |

Yes, it does now. Found the bloody bug and corrected it. I will have to change all the other pages now before uploading the load. I'm still impressed by what this building and hosting company does. Check the site say in 1 or 2 days as I intend to be really in business very shortly... on the web, I mean. Toi, toi, toi to all of you gals and guys. Greetz from the Middle Kingdom. |

So far so good. All english pages are oploaded; email account has been created. One thing I do not like about the navigation is the back and forward function. It's not working in a logical way. I have to sort this out before uploading the two other languages. Suggestions and help will be much appreciated. Cheers, www.tierrasourcing.com |

Hey TSP, good work. You have done alot of work, it looks good sofar. You do have some navigation issuses though. When you go to the english page, it opens a new page, then all the buttons open in that page, which would be Ok, but you still have your origanal page open. The navigation buttons on the english pages come up in other languages, unless you go back to the original english page. We are all not multi-lingual like you, I only speak english, and german, so I was alittle lost. I am very impressed with what you have done!!

I really liked the introductory page's color and layout. I was a little disappointed to see the layout change to less professional ones as i got into the meat of the site.

Hi Mike and Alex, Thanks for your feedback. Main page indeed has the nicest lay-out. I will look into the other pages later. My priority for the moment is to fix the navigation issues and the button title issue. I'll open a new thread in the navigation section to seek help for that. I guess it would be asking too much to get version 1.00 running perfect after just one day. Once all is fixed I intend to get a German section as well. Thanks again for your comments. |

Hi again from TSP, Been doing some extra work. Email via our site is enabled. Auto response also. I wonder if some of you want to send a mail for testing? No need to send a real message but I would like you to send it with something in the "subject" part. Just to verify and get feedback about how the auto reply looks in your different browsers. (I'm using Bill's I.E.7 myself, as does the strife). Thanks and greetz to all. TSP www.tierrasourcing.com |

A slow day it seems to be? Anyone who wants to give some extra comments before I start to promote the site into my target market? Thanks all.

on the tradefaire.html page, the incoterms2000 button is a broken link. Also, on page has a button named "mail" while the rest of the pages have that same button named "contact". I think consistency is best to prevent confusion with your visitors, but that's up to you.

Corrections made. Thanks Alex. On some pages I have added "sponsored links by google". I hope they are a bit relevant to our site's content in the different regions where you people view the website? I appreciate all your comments.

Looks good. Though I think the layout on the home page could be improved. The clocks are a good feature but I don't see them when the language buttons are in view. The two lines of text in each language section that veer to the left are distracting. I'd block the text - and even delete the click-on directions. The navigation buttons are clear. Standard navigation buttons throughout the site would be an improvement to my mind. You may be changing this as I write because it seems more standard than when I first looked. Start seems to have disappeared in favor of Home. Good to have that uniform as well. Dutch/Flemish viewers might appreciate navigations buttons in their own language. Ditto French. Matter of pride more than chauvinism. Ik ken het woord vooraleer in de 3rd alinea van het Nederlands niet. Vlaams? It's a complex site and a major task to put together but you've done a fine job. Proficaat! |

Thanks for the input. Auto-reply was ok? In fact, I was not able to respond to auto reply as my home provider seems not to allow me to use partners@tierrasourcing.com for outgoing mail? This is Hong Kong, but still part of China. Maybe I did something wrong. Vreeeeselijk bedankt voor uw check. Enne 't is Vlaams,... niet een Nederlands dialect van de originele taal. Sorry, could not resist.

The auto response works perfectly. If no one reacts to your email question you could place a new thread in the email forum. You’ve got silver buttons on the E + N Trade Fairs pages that match the good looking bronze buttons on the home page, though the arrows are different. That might be a way of standardizing the buttons and creating a house-style. |

Thanks Ms M. I'll look into that stuff later. Very busy with some upcoming HK trade fairs now. 'k Weet wel: betreffende de pub voor een "ander bedrijf" maar ik ben hun verdien-geld systeem aan het checken. Indien het niet echt werkt dan geen probleem om de teksten te verwijderen. Anyway I'm still quite impressed by what these guys here are offering. NowI'm off to work a bit more on the agenda for our next-trade-fair-customers event. Doei!

How'd you do it? I haven't been able to configure a reply via the site. In fact, I couldn't configure anything and opted for the OE auto-configuration and then had any emails to the site forwarded to my personal email on Thunderbird. |

Anyone to correct spelling? I was in a gentle way told not to do this on another topic. So, I stand corrected. But as said, aynyone wants to correct my English? As said, please use UK English corrections, not Canadian, US, ZA or Oz etc... Thanks a bunch.

To Ms M. I shouted a bit in Cantonese to my local ISP provider. So now it works for 90%. Me ok with that.

This is for the first three paragraphs. Will take a look at the others at another time. Gotta work now... The approach your business pursues to its sourcing/import operations depends on many factors. (join the following sentences with the first) With several approaches available, selecting the right one for your business can be quite confusing and requires extensive knowledge. That's where we come in. When looking for a correct approach on sourcing and import from abroad, you should carefully evaluate available resources, competition, ins and outs of the transaction anticipated, and collaborators know-how. Before selecting the best approach for your business, asking yourself the following questions will help you in your decision-making process. |

Aha. The Portuguese shout all the time but no one listens. Luckily, our site isn't commercial so my set up works ok too. I take it you have a UK spelling checker. What do you want proofed? |

Funny you are Ms. M. I'm not that good at Cantonese but I do know their insulting phrases quite well (smile) Ms Ama, Great, I'll correct that first thing in the morning as at this time, I going for [censored] things in life. Doh dze (thank you) to all of you. Great portal. JP

Hey JP, I read through most of your pages, and you still have a few errors. On the Consultancy page, advise would sound better as advice, expat staff, should be expert staff, and I think you mean external contacts, maybe, not external accountants. On the Sourcing page, organize, instead of oranise. It's looking real good though, and I'm looking forward to the German version, so I can keep in practice.

Don't put JP on the wrong track! He probably does mean expat - and hopefully they're expert too. Advise [verb] in the heading should be advice [noun] but is correct as a verb in the text. Oganise is UK spelling; organize is correct in the US. JP asked for UK usage in Reply 20. |

I stand corrected. Thanks The wording in those sentences sound odd, that's why i mentioned the spelling, I need a international dictionary, and grammer book!! LOL.

Thanks for the thought Mike, although Sarah is correct with her answer regarding UK spelling preference. It's tricky as I have also been in business with the US in a former life. After a while one starts to mix up with all those subtle differences like z versus s or center versus centre. As for the accountants, that's exactly what I meant. I will have another look at the wording in general though. Ms AmaDee: fair enough, no problem. Regards, JP

I copied/pasted the next section of your English Homepage and did the proofreading and have placed them below: Basic Commercial Questions . What will be your preferred way of buying? Through agents, distributors, export management companies, export trading companies, sourcing consultants in the seller’s region or by yourself? · Will there be any difficulties obtaining accurate market and competitive analysis in the target country? · What will be the final price of the middlemen cited above? · What pricing strategy will you use? · Are you on the safe side for eventual currency fluctuations? · Along with your shipments, do you intend to insure the transactions? · Is the final price competitive in the domestic or international markets that you want to approach? · Will the envisaged transactions be isolated with a limited or ongoing number of transactions? · Which payment method will be acceptable for both parties (open account, advance payment, consignment, document collection, letter of credit)? · Are you documented about import tariffs imposed on certain goods from the exporter’s country? · Who will be in charge of final quality control before shipping? · Are you pursuing international business to supplement domestic sales, or will you export to other markets? |

| We are in debt with you Ms AmaDee. Your very subtle refinements of the text are highly appreciated! If you happen to travel to this part of the globe we promise to make time to show you around and invite you to the great local dim sum places and seafood restaurants on our outlying islands like Cheung Chau. | BTW, fyi Ms AmaDee: Your customer “My personal office” ought to be informed about a slight problem on its site. A small text-over-text problem at the end of the main page. (I was checking some of your designs and they look very nice and professional)

Anyone to give some feedback regarding the ads by Google and links towards Amazon books, I just added? Ok or too messy? Do they connect mostly to the content of the page? Advice is welcome.

Yes, am a tad unhappy with that one as well but want to keep it. I'm thinking of moving it down to the end of the page.
