Lightbox is awesome!

Hi Everyone,
I just placed lighbox on my teacup basket page and I am so thrilled with how much better it looks! I just keep finding new things to try with BV and I feel my site is looking so much better than when I began. I would love to know what others think about the teacup page. Looks brilliant, really really good, great website design, excellent use of colours, superb all round.

Have you considered the British expat market for your goods? Only would make a beautiful gift I'm sure for many British people living far from home, could see great potential for you there.

Got to say it, good work and the lightbox is very effective.
I often get asked if I have tea accessories, let me know if you would like to link your page with blueearthtea and viceversa and we can exchange logos and URL's.

Karen I love your website, I think I remember when you first put it out, what an improvement..........I have not had chance to use the lightbox feature yet or understand how it works, better go see what I can create.

Don't forget the American expats! Quilting is gaining in popularity in Europe. Patterns might be an idea for you to develop to test the overseas market. A string of quilted chili peppers, from a pattern bought in a Phoenix quilt shop, is a hit here in Portugal. Your site is very attractive. Check the tea cozy page. The third item has shifted to the right.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Bill, I e-mailed you through your site, hopefully you will receive it. Mark I tried your e-mail but it was returned, sorry. Anyway, I would love to look at any info regarding shipping, etc. to Britain. I know I receive visitors from there I just have not had time to do proper research regarding the market. Sarah, I have toyed with the idea of patterns, it's on the drawing board, just need the time to develop it. Paul, I'm glad you think the site has improved, I know it has. Blue Voda makes it sooo much fun. Thanks again.

I want to use this lightbox feature for my new picnic basket site which I am going to start over again once Karen Mac does my templae for me cause I just can't get it right! Can you tell me how to do use it so I don't goof it up?

lightbox is pretty easy to use. click on icon, when box comes up double click on it to get properties - click on add and then go to where your images are kept - add as many as you want. then title them where it says thumbnail title. go to "style" tab check the text box and set your fonts etc. when done ok place on page where you want them and name page and publish - then link to published page. i used it at http://www.movingon1.com/mauratafotos.php first time i ever tried it

Why do lightbox users prefer it to gallery, with pop-up? Is it the focus on one product? Or do you think it looks more professional?

I tried lightbox but didn't like the webpage blocked out and went back to gallery and pop-up. I have to redo my pics - standardize the pixel size - and am wondering whether to give lightbox another chance.

What is the difference between cell spacing and cell padding?

Karen... Im not intrested in quilting but your site could change my mind... Very good structure and coluring...

I to use Lightbox and i have it as a Gallery displaying 30 images... It's fantastic... I hear they are working on a Video version for market release simlar to the Dimmer program used by the Stage6 website...

I have started using lightbox on my picnic site and it is looking AWESOME! I just love the way the pictures some up on it. You can see them at http://www.wehavepicnicbaskets.com and click on any of the pictures there. This site will take a while to get up but it will get done eventually!!

This is by far the coolest feature they have come out with!

Thanks for more kind words. I used lightbox because I like the way it looks but the gallery feature is also very nice. I guess it just depends on what you like for your site.
