Default Site Totally Redone!

Hiya all!
I have totally redone my site into a smaller screen size. What do you think? Hopefully there is no more sideways screen scrolling.

Thank you for taking a look!

Looks good jean, maybe a little twiking. No more scroll, but your link page goes nowhere.

Hi Jean,

The site still side-scrolls at 800x600 resolution. You want to set your page width at no more than about 760.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for having a look and commenting...I have taken my links page out for the moment I haven't done anything on it yet...The side scroll was my big issue....

Much Appreciated

I know that can be frustrating. Is there some specific issue you're having with reducing the page width?

Well being a real green horn at webpage building!!

I thought that remaking it at a screen width of 800 would totally get rid of the scroll....I have redone the site once! Will work at reducing it more.
Is there a lot of scroll for you?

Thanks
Jeannine

Best thing is when you do multiple pages that when you copy (clone) your index page you have everything laid out there. 955 widths is the right for "old fashion computers (not wide screen)" and then you choose your page length which is up to how much stuff you have.
Page transformation has to be done just once on the index page and will be copied naturally every time when you clone a page. BUT YOU MUST COPY (CLONE) THAT INDEX.
VIEW-PAGE PROPERTIES-PAGE TRANSITIONS.
Thats how you do smooth page transitions and wipes and so on.
When you start to clone your pages you want to have a navigation bar ready with ALL the links there as well. It saves so much time and trouble.

It is kind of dreadful to see where people must go with their domain names. Where did that 9 come from???

Anyway. Your pages look good enough that I would even like to change link with you with my planet-360.com, just to give you some effort:) It has this same hand made idea. Just contact portrait@planet-360.com if you please. I know I got some issues too there but time... More pictures are coming.

Thank you for your helpful feed back..I value all the tips and hints.
I would be happy to exchange links when I am a bit more ready.

The 9 came from my name actually...my name is Jeannine so I just use
Jean9, I have used this shortened version of my name forever.

Thanks
Jeannine
