Please check loading times

Hi everyone,

I'm just starting a new site.....Lots more to do but, was wondering if someone would check the loading times for the product page. Please keep in mind I just started...OK If it does not look OK please tell me, I can take it.

Hi Sharon

The header (blue) did take a little time to download (about 15 seconds) but after that everything is fine!

It just took quite awhile to load for me - but I'm in the process of running a program that might have caused it - so check with others!'

I think you should market those collapsible items to the RV market - I know they will sell well if they are quality to most of us :) We are always looking for lightweight items that take up less space than what we currently have. I did see the collapsible storage containers at a store recently - I believe it was Wal-mart - if you can find SQUARE ones - those make for maximum storage space and would be the best in an rv.

Just some things for you to think about - I've been considering doing a site for rv related items for a few years - but never have done all the research to find what I'd want to stock :)

Thanks Beth, I have looked at our Wal Mart and not seen them. These are FDA approved. We have all of the doc. Thanks for the ideas.

Sharon, great job ... no problem with loading time for me, but you can do better, by reducing the size of the header and optimizing it ...

95 & 47 kbs attached, as opposed to 857 kbs

Hi,
If you use firefox they have a very useful free (of course) extension called web developer. Use that and you have a mass of analytical info at your finger tips (including a speed report). It is, other than navigation, the only toolbar I have on my browser and it is invaluable. You can find out so much about sites other than your own into the bargain.
