Redesign Yes or No???

Hi All,
I've neglected my original site which is in desperate need of a revamp. I've been playing with this new look: http://www.addoadventure.com/new_home_page.html Please have a look and let me have your feelings. (only the front page, as links will take you to the "old" site)

Hi, I like the layout of this one more, but I think that blue color is very strong.
I get the impression of having a Rave party with an elephant.
I am joking.
You are very good, and I can see you have dedicated a lot of to this project, I am personally very impress about your site.

I agree with Alas ... the blue is a bit strong ... but otherwise I jsut love your website ... fantastic photos ... just wants to make me fly in and visit ... keep up the great work ....

I seem to remember from my younger day's that 'e' is for elephant LOL

I wanted to keep something from the 'old page' and decided on the 'blue header panel'. I'm going to have a look at a softer header, as this new page is'nt grabbing me and maybe that's the guilty party.

I like this one ... but it doesn't match the grey, so maybe you could tone it down into black, white & brown tones ...

Thanks LadyEye, I would definately dump the grey...
My design style is similar to a blind man in a 'xxxxx house' It's all about the feel and I'm battling with this one.

I don't mind the grey, it actually looks good, what about just bringing that header pic (the one posted on here above) into the tones of that zebra down in the bottom right, that would look sharp with the grey, the page looks real nice ...

I like the blue, but maybe just a little lighter. The new page is not so dark and dreary as the old one. It looks good to me.

Looking at a semi neutral look (night time in addo) to place more emphasis on the pictures. Yes, only the actual background as I'm getting dizzy from the amount of 'design reloads'...
