Default My new site finally finished....Views please

I have just finished my new site www.intra4life.com

Please take a look and tell me of anything that I can change or improve.
I need to link to lifestyles shopping cart which I will do as soon as I am happy with everything, so don't worry that the links to the shopping cart don't work, every other link should be fine.

My partner is running the site, so her name and pic appears on it, so no that's not me : )

Comments good or bad are welcome as always.

Regards Paul

Well Paul I only read American and German, but it looks great to me!!
It flows real good, and the color and lay out work real well too.
You do nice work, I can only be jealous and work harder.

Paul

Everyone of those pics and the ORDER Intra today need to link up to PURCHASE the product or at least to the product page itself, most customers dont want to look for the menu if they dont have to. Click the pic or the text and be done. Some will click the menu, but alot wont. Dont miss the opportunity for a sale because its not linked up.

Thank you Mike, I still feel I have a way to go myself, but the more I do, the more I learn.

Karen this was stated in the original post. I have yet to link to the shopping cart. As this cost me a small amount each month to use (I have to use theirs) I wanted to make sure the site was right before starting up. I will though take your advice and link the pics also.

Thanks for your comments

Paul

I seen that the cart wasnt installed yet, but didnt realize you werent using your own, so I understood I couldnt buy it, but I still expected it to link to the product itself.. if you follow what i mean.

Not really Karen. This is what happens, when signing up you get a website provided, its very SEO unfriendly, as so many people have them and there pretty much all the same. In the website is a shopping cart. Now you can if you like build your own site and link to the shopping cart part of the website, so it is re-directed to another site basically once you click on order.

The site is not live or anything, this is the first time I have placed it anywhere. Tomorrow I will sign up for the website and just link to the shopping cart, this is needed as they autoship.

If there is any confusion, you could maybe pop back once this has been added, then it maybe better to really understand your concern. The only reason I have not added it yet is because I wanted some feedback and then I may have to make some changes, which in turn could take a little time. As I have to pay monthly for the service I wanted to sign up when I was completly happy.

Hope that clears things up a little, unless I have mis-understood you.

Paul

Hey Paul,

Looking really good.

I have a comment more than a criticism, maybe look at a softer green background (outside of site) which matches your sites colour combo's, It loads first with your text and for those of us who speed read while the rest of the page is loading, it is difficult to read the text.

I feel half healthy, just for visiting your site.

Cheers,

Paul, it's looking good.

My main suggestion is that you move the navigation to the order page to the 2nd place on the menu (directly under home) - instead of burying it at the end.

PlayItByBeer...It does seem to load sluggish this end, but I have had a few P.C probs recently and not sure if its me or the site. I will play around with different shades, I did this before though and felt the background colour I chose brought the site out more.

Beth I respect all your opinions, just thought I would let people find out a little more before sending them to this page. I may however place it higher up, something to think about.

Paul,
I understand them reading the page first - but in navigation - on pages selling products - you don't want to bury the navigation - when they look for it - you want it easily found.

But, yep, it's your decision :)

Beth you could be right, I never try the hard sell as I feel this works against you, but yes they may want to find where to buy pretty soon. I will move it up over the weekend.

The shopping cart is now added also, so with just a bit more tweaking I should be ready to get the site out there and found.
