My new website! New look! Need comments!

Hello everyone,

Haven't been on in a while, I try to keep up from time to time. Any howsers, as you probably noticed I've gone away from a company and just into a personl web development website.

I've been working on a new look and would appreciate some honest comments. Now I don't want any spelling corrections as those I will fix myself, and there may be broken links as I am still working on it, but honest comments would be nice as I complete the website.

none of the side links work.. all give errors. Hackersafe is chopped off on your portfolio page, your complete transaction doesnt work. BTW are you using hacker safe on your site?

I like the softened look, and the brevity, but feel the abbreviated images project too much of an unbalanced perspective. Perhaps they were cropped with a personal view in mind, but nowadays, I feel the effective use of images will only gain importance and how they "anchor" content and compel conversion......were visitors allowed to see (experience, personally invest in, understand) more, or to have a 'broader' conceptual linkage to your direction, you might be better served with more 'complete' or less generic/bland images. Just a perspective!

Interesting that we both seem to be going back to our "roots" so to speak. I have recently ressurrected a business with a twist of my own, and am already experiencing a great deal of satisfaction, despite the fact I am still loading as well.

Flash has a place, even in seo and marketing, however, that music sucks.

Turn it off, or tune the site out!

(I am not planning on casual client development from random traffic: this is purely driven by my own traditional marketing efforts to a specific market segment. I enjoy being able to pick and choose my customers, Karen......and I simply do not hear the chatter along the fence!)

Vasili.. you should give me that OPTION if you really want to keep not just me, but LOTS of customers.. Lot of your market will be at work, and honestly, they will TUNE it off with the X key and look elsewhere. I can live with the rest of it.. wish your menu was slightly larger as its dwarfed by the size of the site, I think u could tweak it up a bit visually, and I know you took the steps to make it seo friendly.. think you should post an html version to show that side of your skills too!

(I dunno....a smack is a smack, especially when you're not expecting one....it wasn't supposed to be my site being "reviewed")
Didn't see the volume button at the bottom, did you? No Matter....and no, I really do not concern myself with transient traffic to this site....it is only there as a point of contact for those driven there. Period.

Sorry, Jeremy.....maybe Our Leading Lady will edit your thread to the pristine thing it once was?

LOL.. Holly, I wasnt REALLY smacking, just honest since he directed my attention there. And I really wasnt smacking Jeremy either as i can do that in pms everyday.. and he likes it.
