Post colinm

We launched our new website yorkaccordions.com 2 months ago but it is very slow to load and when I tried to resize the pictures they did not appear. I do not want to pay for winzip to download the voda resizer. May have to make multiple pages but have not found how to do it yet.
Also it still does not come up on google. All help and any criticism will be greatly appreciated.

You can reduce your picuter size with PIXresizer. Check out this Link to see how u can use this software.
Google is tooooo slow to find website by its own. Their crawler are not as good as Google's name is. To list your website on google's search engine, you have to submit your website manually so that their crawler can find it easily. Go to this Link and submit ur website.

Hey Colin

You should be able to get a free evaluation version of WinZip online that has limited functionality. It is good enough for unzipping files. You can upgrade to the full version by paying registration.

I tried this one the other day & seemed to be an ok zip (The one right at the bottom of the page).
On the google part! You have a one off entitlement from VH to place your site with all the major SE's as part of your account. This is the info they will need, as per email they sent me. (Pop it in as a support ticket)

If you would like us to submit your website to the leading search
engines, please reply to this email with the below information.
1) A 100 character (1 paragraph) description of your website.
2) 5 keywords or key phrases that are relevant to your website.
3) The Domain Name would like us to submit.
4) Your full name.
As soon as we receive the above information we will begin the free
submission process within 48 hours.
Please Note...
This is a free one time submission. If you require a more in-depth
monthly recurring submission please visit the below link.
