Paul: Ok, I tried it again and it finally did all load up for me, but took a long time. The last picture to load is a huge file and that may be part of the problem. Then when I clicked on your paypal button, the screen started to fade (maybe you have it set to blend in page transitions), then it hung up on me again. Hopefully you can get others to try it here and see if they are having the same problems I am. It's late here in Colorado (1:30am), so I'll check again tomorrow! |

Hi Cindy and Paul ... I checked it out and the page is taking about 30 seconds when it ideally should be taking about 17 seconds on an isdn connection .. so there are a few things that can be done for this page .. The itunes cd logo is coming in as a bmp and it would be better for all as a jpg .. reduction from 30 kbs to 4 .. image is attached .. A few of the images are about 40kbs and that is too much for the size of those so off to dynamic drive to reduce .. www.dynamicdrive.com Your images can be reduced in kbs here, the physical size stays the same, but reducing the kbs will greatly increase page loading times .. you had three on the page .. I have reduced and have attached for you .. This should help!! Thanks for the song and email Paul .. it sounds terrific .. I enjoyed it last night after the fireworks here for Canada Day .. ty Other than this the page should then come in around the 17secs we are looking for .. so just change up these few images and things will be good!!
