Hi,
A few things:
- I found too small the font in your menus..home, about us,etc...
- And using FF I see a few problems. Clicking on 'about us' you go to this page and then the white menu on the right gets all mixed up with the writing, which is also white (and black).

Cheers,

You have done a lot of work and the pictures you have so far, are great.
You need to check your script for spelling as there are a few mistakes. I don't know what MAP and AP mean, will others? The Travel Agent telephone number is in the box and also below the box. Just go through and carefully check each page. If you get stuck, just ask.
The fact that a visitor is able translate your script into their own language is excellent.
Keep up the good work
Patsy

thank you so much for taking the time to go through it Patsy and NZBR. I will do the needful. I have to rectify a few links and some drop down menus too.

Lightbulb Re: new site, need some constructive critisim thanks

You have "misplaced" the Key Words on your page:
Beach Resort, Mangalore, Ullal, Summer Sands beach resort, Beach resorts in India, hotels in mangalore, family getaways, beach holidays, villas, cottages, on the beach, Ullal beach, beaches of south india, restaurant, sea food, accomodation, Beach resorts in karnataka, Resorts, conference facilties, party halls, family holidays, sun and sand, surfing, ">

This is showing up as black text at the top of your page, when it should be enetered in the PAGE PROPERTIES Dialog Box in the appropriate field on the proper Tab.
> Right-click on an empty place on your BV page > Click PAGE PROPERTIES, and the rest is quite obvious.

Delete the mis-placed Key Words from wherever/however you placed them, and re-publish after entering them (and the rest of your META info) properly.

Othewise, Great Start!

Hi,
Didn't like the menu at the end of the page.
It looks messy. Explain:
- You have white background with black writing
- You have black background with white writing
- You have different types of fonts
- You have an orange line behind your menu as well. Can't read it (I'm using FF)

Cheers,

i cant figure out the background colour myself. how to tke it off. I initially put the background colur to make corrections while editing. The background colours dont show on my BV screen, only shows on preview or online. Howzthat? isnt there a transparent option ? cant see one.
By the way was the previous home page better??

This one looks better.
You should delete all shapes you've used and start from scratch at the end. There's lot's going on there!

Hi! Colorful & off to a good start, but to inconsistent for my liking. Feels like you are being transferred to other site when clicking to another page & you have to keep looking for a menu. A beach resort like this you should be able to relate to the site on every page.
Have a look at Andrew,s sites samples at this link & see the theme running through the site.

thanks Nzbr, to my knowledge i have just used text boxes and not shapes, why am i still getting the white background dont know. do you mean to say redo the whole website from scratch... aaaahhh but why?? what exactly is the prob?

Collectors, thanks for the link, very neat site. I gues they have used Flash. I do not know flash, will have to learn up on that. My thinkingis : its boring to have the same layout on all the pages. But dont know if thats a mindset. do ppl feel comfortable that way or feel connected that way?/ if it is indeed hindering the effectiveness of the website than i will have to think up a good theme. and guess learn some flash too. I have zero html knowledge. just happy with BV tools and created the whole thing like i would a document hahahah

Nah! Most of his sites are purely BV & a nice image program like photo shop. No trickery with these sites. Just a good eye.
