Default Belgium Webguide

Ok, would be nice to hear your thoughts on the following website:

Family in Belgium

Things to appreciate before you review:

1) Site is failry much a blank canvas for client to take over and complete so many pages will have little or no info on.

2) Site is 99% finished as far as my work is concerned, but now going over the fine tuning, so any spotted errors are very welcomed.

3) HUGE thank you to Karen (KMAC) for the creation of the forum that goes alongside this website. We really really struggled with this one!

hello Ramsey, great job again. the only thing i could not do is go back to the website from the forum. when i clicked home it kept me on the forum and when i x'd out it took me away from the website. by the way i love the look of the forum. are they going to have pages for members that joined up, with pictures etc.... if so will be a fun website to visit, even for us yankees.

Hi Tom,

Yes, Karen and I are really struggling on this particular forum, one of those issues was the link back. Because we are using a custom template we seem to be struggling to find how to link the banner back to the site.. but working on it. Thanks. In fact, I am going to make the forum open in a new browser. That will help.

As for the content of the forum I am trying to give her as many ideas as possible to get it working well for her. I will give her your ideas thanks.

The Issue with this forum is that its all css. When I try to link the header back to the forum.. outside of this css stylesheet it doesnt do it correctly.. what i may have to do is add it up there next to the search box or something.. I just havent had time to go back up there and put it in the style sheet. Maybe I can get to that today.

Karen

Love the playful lettering, feels like grade school! One suggestion for us Americans who might end up in Belgium...translate the Celsius temp to Fahrenheit.

Thank you. I'll mention that to the owner as she now has the site in her control.
