Hi Roger All your pages need to be centred (page properties - centre text) these two pages need the text to be BOLD or a different colour as the text is hard to read: http://chesapeakebareboats.com/manage.html http://chesapeakebareboats.com/charter.html Change all your contact page links to: http://chesapeakebareboats.com/contact.php Wish I lived closer, would love a trip................ |

Hi, ditto with Davids comments. Found the search for the menu a little confusing & might be better in one spot. Most of your images need to be a bit more web friendly. (Dont use the image handles to reduce the size) Although the chart style background is a nice idea, it tends to make the reading of the text a little hard. Good luck.

Hello Roger, I like your site, nice idea. Just one suggestion, make the letter size smoller in your contact form's 'Charter options' field. It's not readable now. Good luck with your business. |

David and other comments are spot on. In addition you need to set your page width the same for all pages. (page 2 "Cruising the Chesapeake" requires using the scroolbar which isn't necessary) Missing Nav Bars on "Grab Bag" and Contact Page". You might want to put them on to avoid having to use the browser back button. Also, the Nav Bars look better if placed in the same location on each page. Paul |

Hello, In regards to the others post about your text, this is my suggestion: 1. Highlight all your text and save it to a notepad or similar. 2. Delete it from your webpage. 3. Create a image that is just white like the box im typing into now. 4. Resize it to fit exactly where your text was before. 5. click insert text box and resize it over the now white box you created leaving about 1/4 to 1/2 inch border. 6. with the text highlighted click on move to front. 7. Save page and Publish This will create a white box with all your text on a white background not the map background and will be easily readable. Hope this makes sense. Other than that PLEASE dont let my father see your site or else he will be drawing from his retirement just to floating around the ocean with you. ;) -DM |

I love your Intro page and the way you have done it with the large BW sailboat picture. The subsequent pages are a bit hard to read with the Bay map as the Wallpaper. I would re-think the use of the map as the background or use it but put your text into a text box sans the map. IMO, only. I mirror the other comments on the centering, etc, etc. Nice start to a great site! Good luck! |
