well i'm impressed - went through most pages and all working very well. you should do well. the only dissappointment I had was the video page. there were no videos and as you can see i'm very partial to websites that implement video. good luck with your site and new business.

I do have one comment.. i think you need to center your table on the home page... it leaves a gap on the side now instead of on the bottom..LOL.. If you need help with this let me know.

Maybe its my monitor... On the home page only... i see the table of products.. then to the right is a column of ads or something. Theres about an inch gap between the right side of your table and the far right column

Your site looks great and is complex. I don't know how you did it so well. One problem for me was your choice of font on your about us page. It was really hard to read and it looked like too much text in one hit. But on the whole, GREAT!!!![

Thanks Roberta The text sometimes comes up weird depending on your computers text settings. Its suposed to look like hand written printing. I thought it makes it a little more personal.

If its not a web friendly font.. You should change it.. and maybe just italicize it for that handwritten look. Otherwise you are going to have this issue. The user has to have that font installed on their computer to see it as you intend..or.. you have to make it an image.

Yes I do plan to change the font, However now I seem to have another gremlin that was not there before. On the pages with the discription of the items, say mens jackets, at the bottom of the page is the free gifts menu and for some reason when you click a item it doesnt link to its corrosponding page. It gives an error message. But it is only the first stage menu, The next stage of the menu links up fine. What is even more strange is if you go to free gifts using the catagorie buttons the same page comes up and the links work. I tried to redo the links and to no avail. HELP Please

Im sorry but Im not sure how or what to do to change it. Also I would like to be able to let the customer fill in the free gift form aotomaticaly without haveing to write down skew# and then going back to the free gift form and manualy filling it in. Is there a way to do this without too much trouble?

Well if you want the link to work in the shopping area.. you have to place the product in a category. Or you cant link to the SHOPPING.. see what i mean? You have to LINK to that category. On your detail page that you have attatched to the products.. you have them linked to a page or category that doesnt exist. Just because you made a page titled free gifts doesnt make it a category. So.. you will need to make a category.. free gifts for this ammount.. and free gifts for that amount and add your freebies to it..and then link to those categories in the cart... Personally i would buy the custom checkout mod.. make a form and attach that form to the qualifying products...

And I would attach it to all products that qualified them for the freebie.

In either case your link isnt working and it would if you changed it to what i showed you on your detail page.. then it wouldnt give them a page not found..

Hello Karen, I tried evrything I could think of and still the link is not working. What I dont get is it was working great a couple days ago and all my other links work including my other free page links. It also works from my home page menu. I do have catagories for free gifts and biker wallets and leather accessories and I tried to re link to any thing else and nothing works. Im dead in the water. What am I not seeing?

I didnt see those categories in the shopping cart.

I see it there now.. however there are NO products in it!

once you get the products in there you need to view them.. and then copy the link from the browser and remove everything from the &session Id= and you will be good.

Karen , I just wanted to thank you for your input. It turns out that it must have just been some kind of glich with soholaunch because I just redid the links to the same url as before and now it is working. Yesterday however I couldnt get it to work when I tried to redo the links. And as I said before it was working fine up to a couple days ago. I duno but I feel much beter now. I still would like to find out how to automatically add free gift pick to the free gift form so that the customer doesnt have to manually input the skew. Can this even be done eith soholaunch?

Yes.. you have to make the form, and in the advanced tab of your products, tick the box ..requires data from and in the drop down select your form. You can put all the product skus in there... and they can just tick one off and it will be added to your cart.

UHG, now when I try to edit my pages I only get "apperance example" instead of the pictures of my product. Does anyone have a clue how to fix it?

Thats all you should have gotten dragging the products to the page. If you want to edit PRODUCTS you have to go to the cart to do that...it should show u the sku tho...

All of a sudden my products are not showing and instead there is a sample notice in each box where product was. but when i preveiw the page they show up. The problem is I cant edit them. I hope this is clear its hard sometimes to get across the problem to someone else.

LOL...ok...lets start from the beginning...

you go to create or edit pages... and you have products on that page...thats a page with products.. its supposed to show the sample...

To edit the products you must go to the shopping cart icon...then you can edit products and categories...

You are just thinking of the PAGES as categories or product pages..when they really arent.

The problem is that on my edit pages none of the product is showing in each box as it was before yesterday. There is only a "apparance example" where the picture of the product should be. If I add a new product the picture of that item shows in the box as it did before but all the old items on that page still dont show. How do I get them to show up again?

They never should show or never have in the past. Make sure you have updated the software. Its always shown the sample. Its a php include, you arent actually putting the product there. You are putting a link to the product in the database there. If the new one is showing thats a new feature.. to help you in laying out the page, but once they are called from the database.. they probably revert to the sample.
