Ok well its almost at the finish line - i think a few things left (video tutorials, editorial front page and a few others - then ready to launch - the only thing right now that i am having issues with is the Guestbook i have it there and ppl can sign in but when they do all i get is an email and nothing is posted so any help there i would appreciate ....

You link is not working and I am unable to find your site. Have you published your guestbookdb.php yet? If not reveiw the tutorial, this is a common missed step.

Hi, sites fine in looks. But! to be honest it completely lost me in what it was all about, apart from something to do with software. It needs something obvious that says straight away what the sites about. Also not quite sure why there is 3 columns of the same text on the front page?.

Yes I know I haven't finished front text as I indicated earlier - the main thing was the nav and if the pops worked - as to being lost I totally understand but was thinking thats what the text would be about etc. Maybe some icons standing out telling you what its about? I am thinking though most who visit the site are the ones that are going to be pointed to it - those interested within our industries etc....

Hi,
Guess what was the first thing I did when I looked at your home page?
Turned off my sound!
Id get rid of that sound if I were you it will drive away visitors in seconds!
As for the widgets, they are kind of old hat now, can you just use photographs that get your point across?

Your banner is really squashed and therefore the text is squashed with it so I am assuming you need to resize it to the correct proportions.

Text size and colour is great, though there is a lot to read and people dont read websites, they just want to get to where they are going as soon as they can, so make it easy for them to do this.
I really hope people remember your site address because that is one heck of a name to remember...and spell correctly.

I agree with the post above the banner does look distorted, and the sound effect gets really annoying. Also I would have your products page open in the same window as your home page other wise users are wuickly going to have several windows open at once. I do like the layout, nice design, nice colors and back ground, easy to navagate (maybe make the menu bar slightly larger?). Good job

Have you changed the guestbookdb.php file properties to 777
(on the website)
