Maybe if it was centered. Looks good though.

It's good but I know what you mean. (I think it's the lack of a hint of green - not electric green like your deal of the week was - something a little more understated. I've got green on the brain today! Lol.) The blue and the maroon are both dark if not green something to balance the dark colours? I'd play about see what you can come up with.

Mmmm. It's a tad dark all over now. I get a 3 inch white gap down the side which might make me see it differently. The product description text is very small by the way - try using a larger font. That background does make it appear warmer but worry that it's taking the eye away from the products. Sorry this is disjointed - I keep going back and looking. Sorry if I'm not helping much.

Your background is a gif, and it was saved with a smaller resolution.
bv01362.gif.........do you have the original picture? A better quality pic would have 250 color settings.
It needs to be a jpg or jpeg. thats why it looks a little odd and messed up.
check it out and see if it helps. I would also center it in the browser. And perhaps a light grey background? this is only my opinion.

Thumbs up Re: what's wrong?

I like the site, but maybe the font is a little small. And make the page width smaller. My pages tend to do that too.

It does look very professional in my opinion.

I would just make 2 changes - center the page and change the font.

I'm viewing this on a 17" monitor and this leaves a big gap at the right side of the screen, so if you center the page then this will give a more balanced view for all monitor sizes.

If you look at the fonts you've chosen, you have a mixture between the top and the body. The clearer text to read is at the top and I think that is Arial, so perhaps convert the other text to Arial from Times Roman?

Apart from that, the site looks good.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,
Dave Shore

Hello Jason,

You've worked so hard and I think it's paid off. I agree with everything that Dave says. Its looking very good but the text is still a tad small and difficult to read. Nearly their mate. :o)

thanks dave/amanda,
my settings must be different than others, i too have a 17" monitor & i do not see a gap. hrmmmm.

the font issue, i think i'm so consumed with other things, i keep forgetting about it.

boy, i better see increased sales from this site for all the effort i've put into it! :)
