Site name= http://safersecurityproducts.com designed with SOHO.

The site has been online with Vodahost for several months and was online with stores online before that.

I have resently started selling some products by running specials like 10% off or giving a $9.95 gift if they buy $50.00 or more.

I have had a couple people signup for my newsletter.

I am running some pay per click campaynes with yahoo and though my site shows as 100% S.E.O. on my front page and product pages I still windup on page 3 to page 15 for relevancy.

What am I doing wrong, what do your think needs changes and how can I improve my possition in the search engenes.

I am on Twitter, Facebook,myspace and anything else I can find like directories.

For one your h1 tag is TOO much, your page cannot be optimized for that many things efficiently. I dont care what those bots tell you. Its too much.

For two your page name is simply home. You need descriptive terms there using the SAME terms as your h1 tag...

Did you forget everything I ever taught you? Go back to the other forum and do the stickies.

In order to get better rankings in search engines, check out your competition's meta tags and see what they are using. Try using some of those for yours. I have also heard that updating your site frequently and adding new content gets your site crawled more often.

On each page, you have
Welcome to Safer Security Products.

1. Your title on each page could contain something like
Safer Security Products -
After the dash above you could add the unique items on the page.

2. Your description tag is very much like your keywords.
On each page, you have description for the customers to read.
Bring a few good statements and put them in your description tag
in the form of a "description" and not keywords.

I think you are talking about the Welcome statement at the top of each page that is in the templet and as far as I know can't be changed on differant pages but if it can maybe you could tell me how because I would like to show a picture of the product line as well.

No on each page go to page properties .. there you can change the title and the descriptions etc. The welcome can be removed .. its what shows up because you havent used the title tag.

Pictures wont go up there on the title bar

That welcome in your header is in your template manager on the logo and image and by line etc. Change it to something more descriptive. You cant change it to something else without customization of the template itself

Your title tag should contain your main keyword phrase for that page only. It is OK to include longer tail variations of the keyword. Your title tag is the first thing that the search engines see to understand what the topic of the page is. The next thing is your meta description. All pages should have different titles that relate as narrowly focused for that page. The same thing goes for the description. They are also the first things seen in the search engine results pages (serps) by the visitors.
