Got me a celebrity guest author!

OK - I don't know if this is common, but to a fairly newbie like me, I was pretty jazzed. I got a e-mail from his publicist yesterday asking if they could post a short article on my art site. Got it up in record time.

Damn right that's something to be stoked about! Congratulations Jane. Stuff like that is gonna be a huge boost for your site. It's fabulous news! Nice work!

That is way cool, congrats to you. I hope it will open many doors for you, will probably need a larger site when word gets around. They will all want you to show case them. Great Job!

I think that's really neat and don't want to burst any bubbles - but I certainly hope that he is somewhere, somehow linking to you for placing the article - as this is a boost for him - you want it to be a boost for you also. Only fair that it work BOTH ways - you have done HIM a big deal here.

The article is good for your customers - but it's free advertising for him, not you, unless he's given you a link from something??

Congrats! That's so cool that you got an author for your website. I agree with Bethers, I hope he credits you and points people in your direction.

Yes, Bethers is right as always. I did think of that, but was just happy to get a celeb. I figure I'll have more pull as we grow. I'll be poking around his site tomorrow and will get back in contact with the publicist.

OMG - I promise I'm not always right! That scares me - I just want to see you get the credit and link you deserve, too. It's an honor to have him write the article and contact your site for inclusion., and it's still that - and it's great on the site. Just never be afraid to ask for a link in return.

You need to look at your link page as some of the text is over lapping.

I will be here when you want to start that page, did I read that you like Asian pottery and such? I wind up over there at least 2 or 3 times a year so next time let me know what you want.

Thanks Sharon! I adore Asian pottery and I'm just green with envy you get to go, I've been wanting to for awhile now, but seem to end up in Mexico or Caribbean. Not that I'm complaining!

Hey girl,

If you ever want to go, I know my way around very well in HK and S. Korea. They have some great stuff, I know Taiwan somewhat and mainland China parts of it.
