Hello. I love your site! It's calming and welcoming. It works well and is easy to navigate. I had one teeny problem and wondered if it could be because you have used a non-web friendly font. I have taken a couple of screen shots so that you can see what I am seeing. Please click on this link to my help page to have a look:

http://www.girlonthehill.co.uk/help.html

Congratulations and very well done.

Nice easy on the eye colours which make it feel homely and welcoming.
The only problem I found was the Contact and Feedback links both went to the same page.

Nice looking site & in keeping with the content. One small thing on my screen is on the http://www.sunnybankguesthouse.co.uk/directions.html the map is over the word house
& the map is a little fuzzy.

You could try pasting the code below into your page as a link & have a nice directions image of some sort ? If you do this! Remember to open the link in a new window so the visitor doesn’t loose you. You can go to this link & get a better view if you would like to chage it. When you get the view you like, just copy the address from the top of your screen & paste it in the item on your page
Also a visitor can get directions from their own home using this..
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Upperthong+Lane&ll=53.571053,-1.800127&spn=0.010729,0.039868&om=1

And on the http://www.sunnybankguesthouse.co.uk/contact.html page, the house is over the picture, but this may be on purpose?

Very nice job on the site, should of had a pole for this one.

Cheers,

Chris.

I think your site is stunning.
One or two minor things, as mentioned above, you will probably want to tweak.
In the first two room views, I see that the top picture cuts 'House' in half. In your beautiful Valley Room, 'House' overlaps the 1st line of your text, the Map also cuts 'House' in half.
Not much to see to at all on a lovely site.

PS.
I forgot, with Google maps you can left click & drag the map around these days. With some of the map providers you have to wait ages for the screen to reload as you move around the map. Might be worth mentioning in the link, if used.

Cheers.

You know I said the house was behind the map. Sorry it’s moved to behind the menu now. I have a feeling that if you click on that heading text box in BV & stretch the box to the right it will stop the house word jumping to the next line down.
I see you placed a link to Goggles map page, but it only goes to their main page instead of the map, you would need to insert that long link into the Google word as a hyperlink.
Another idea could be to place an inline frame in the centre of the page & just have the Google map come up in the frame automatically. If you set up the frame with no boarders & no scroll bars, it would just look like a picture.

Cheers.

Looks like you have implemented alot of the suggestions above. Your directions page header still overlaps your navigation bar on my browser, and the contact and feedback links do go to the same page.

Beautiful site, crisp pictures, love the background color of your pages. If I were in your part of the world, a place I would definitely check out! Good luck!

Hi thanks for that. I've tried again it all looks fine on my browser but I would appreciate a check.
As for the google map. It's a great idea, but at the moment the post code is not precise enough so I don't want to confuse things.

The two buttons didn’t work for me on the reset & send, also when I click on the contact us links at the bottom of the pages, I get a error 404 page come up, but let someone ells confer this as well.

Hi Sunny,

just a small point, all pages seem to be centred except the contacts page, so as you click onto the page it looks like a large jump to the left,
picky mabye but hope it helps,

cheers

No overlapping on directions page any more! However on the directions page, if I click the contact us link at the bottom of the page, I get a page cannot be found error. The link is not working. I can click on your contact us button in your nav bar and that works fine.

Just being picky at this point to make sure all your links work. The site is SO WONDERFUL, nothing else to pick at! LOL

Yes it is the contact us link at the bottom of the page that does not work, the other one is fine, hope you sort it out.

Real nice site, seems like an awesome place to stay at.
I could not find an address anywhere, perhaps it can be included on your Home page, under your telephone number.

Also, perhaps you might consider a link to pics of the Valley, Church and Garden, I saw the pics under http://www.sunnybankguesthouse.co.uk/grounds.html

One small suggestion: maybe you can add the code for UK in the telf number?
I love your site very much. nice green colour (I saved it with a color picker on my computer) and easy to navigate.
The photos blend into each other in the header, which creates a dreamy look.
Good job!

Fabulous! If the guesthouse is not a roaring success, I’ll hire you to do my next website! Well done.
The only change I could suggest is to move your; past guests comments section to your main menu.
As it is, you have already made the commitment to book by the time you see it.
Good luck!

Hey, Peter!
Really laid out well, and is inviting:everything from the color scheme to the simplistic emphasis works like a charm!

If you want to make a very minor tweak concerning the menu system:
You can rid yourself of the rollover effect presenting "out of bounds" of your box by increasing the width a bit and repositioning it equidistant from the items, which would probably be the only "touch" worth considering....

Splendid!
