New Site - Comments welcome

Hi all,
My website is almost finished and I would appreciate comments, criticism, suggestions.

Started this project a couple of weeks ago and it is my first website. A few products still need to be added and the rollover pics still need work.

I like your site, a lot! It's fresh, clean, easy to navigate, simple and refreshing in its design. All the links on the navigation bar worked properly and pages loaded quickly. I think you have struck a nice balance between text and visual material. A good job done well. Congratkuations and good luck.

What a great site you have there ..very nice clean and fresh looking and very informative to ...so much so i've sent it to my man in America to show him how to make a real good cuppa ...i'll have him converted yet! lol

Looks good - I will get on my band wagon, tho - which I haven't done here before - and tell you - you have a STORE which is built on a website - which means you should welcome peopel to your STORE not your site. When's the last time you walked into your local department store and were welcomed to their building? Same idea.

Otherwise, I think you've done a great job. It's nice and clean - easy to navigate.

You need to do some optimization work - things like optimizing your page titles - I also suggest you add headlines to the pages with your keywords for that page in them - and move your product pages up to be directly under home - don't make people search to get to the products.

Bill: What a Beautiful Store you have! I am not a tea drinker (coffee is my love) but I'm considering changing after reading about tea on your site. You have done a wonderful job. Very inviting. In order to have the search engines find your pages, you may want to spend a little time on your title bars and include more info on each of your title bar pages. I'm not the SE whiz, but Bethers may be able to give you some suggestions, if you are interested in maximizing your title bars for searches. You have done a GREAT Job and I wish you much success!

Very well put together site. The colour scheme is excellent which makes it easy on the eye and encourages people to stay a while and browse.

I apologize for the 'under construction" hiatus, I was fine tuning other pages - it is up and running now.

I am working on the title bars and Meta Tags (Beth's recommendations) and changed "site" to "store" and "Products" under "Home" (interestingly a friend made the same suggestion).

As for the "Home" link, I left it in more for continuity and look, ty for the suggestion.

great site.....

to be honest its probably one of the better sites ive seen in a loooong time. everything looked perfect, not to crazy,not to lame,was a good job. well done and i do mean well done! looked for typos and flaws but couldnt find none at all.

So how long have you been working on it??

Been at it for about 4 weeks, not everyday though.
Work in progress: second language and page titles.
