This website will be pretty uselss to you if you are not from the Burton on Trent area, where i am, but would like some feedback on the current design.

It is in no way complete yet but i feel i have the frame ready.

I have also found that other peoples computers seem to be viewing text in different font's; i think i have corrected this but please let me know if things change from page to page.

It looks good. Simple and to the point. I tried a few links but they were incomplete - you're probably still working on them. The only thing I spotted that was iffy was the text that says 'please visit out sponsers' was a little low and not easy to read in that text colour against that background. It over-ran the top of your affiliate banner. Apart from that you've made an excellent start and I look forward to seeing it develop. Good job.

Thenkyou, yes it is still in the working. The 'visit our sponsors' problem is a recurring one which i cannot seem to correct. It tends to be fine when viewed in Firefox, but Internet Explorer doesn't like it.

Very nice job, easy and organised I didnt try all the links but all the ones i did try worked except one ..the bed n breakfast one, also theres a bit of a sideways scroll on my screen from a space down the left side of your site, maybe it just need centering in your browser

yes, unfortunately i do have to verify my listings, fortunately i purchased freetalk for business several months ago and have been able to make phonecalls for free.

In reference to the estate agent part, yes they are meant to be links, but not at this stage as their cheques havent cleared yet lol.

i may not be from that area, but i would have to say that from that website i would like to travel to that place. It is a vert good website

thankyou brooksman, once i have all the content in place that i originaaly set out to do i will be adding a tourist section to the site, i am also looking at adding a local music scene section to the site but am unsure of how to proceed with this - i.e what to promote and how to promote it, any feedback on this would be much appreciated.

Hi Tom,

Your website looks clear & well-organized and is simple to navigate through in spite of the large amount of information on it. Cool.

May I suggest something? When you click on a heading, say "business" and then "financial advisors", why not go directly go to your listings instead of having an intermediate step - which is the same no matter what you click on - that says "Continue to Listings, click here". I feel this is redundant and therefore unnecessary; just my opinion, only trying to help.

yes at the moment they are redundant but those pages are the ones from which i will make money. The space is reserved for advertisers and affiliates.

Looks great Tom! What if your Nav bar had a button called "Entertainment". When I look at websites for various locations, I find myself always clicking on the the entertainment links. There you could have your local music scene and other entertaining sites. Just a thought.
