Nice, clean and simple site, Rob. Works well, is easy to navigate and I look forward to seeing it develop further. A good job, well done.

Site seems to work quite well. Being an older person, I like to see fonts be just a hair larger, but that's just me. Having a site that works well, is a big plus... Mine will be along shortly.

thanks all for you kind comments it is good to hear some buzz words come up 'clean' and 'simple' I cannot lie but although the design and work was done by me and helped by phpwcms. Mysite is critiqued during development by a website consultant.

In todays websites they need to be clean and simple. they need to be less technical but be bold and stand out.

I went for a bold simple look but tried to make it easy on the eyes.

there is alot of content to come but i am currently migrating it to a top level route site so hmm this is going to be fun.

good thinking - i am glad youu liked it. I will look at increasing the text size a little bit. I think that it may be a bit small myself.

Speed (creating, loading, whatever) is a technological aspect not always under your control....

Simplicity not only sells, it is simply the finest manner to convey concepts without having to plan for re-interpretation. You demonstrate that in your site already.

Being bold has nothing to do with color, size, or imagery. It has everything to do with perspective, either with regard to content, breaking new ground, or redefining traditional focuses. Being advant garde is not enough, but by artistically applying innovation, differentiation (boldness) results. You have done well to highlight this, although I would suggest you re-think the abscence of periods and commas in your content, just in keeping with the spirit of e.e.cummings and the probablility that the majority of visitors don't necessarily need to deal with such handicaps to comprehension...

You've made an impressive foray, Rob....we're all anxious to see your "completed" effort!

Rob, that is one impressive site.
Clear, attractive, invites user to explore. Best of luck !

One question - Newsletter: going to give users option to get Adobe Acrobat if they don't have it? I would think everyone would have it by now, you never know.

Good work !

I am just finishing my own site (so please consider the source!) but I have two suggestions. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your opening page. It is so clean and visually interesting---the viewer just has to go further! :) I also like the type treatment and layout throughout. I don't know if there are options, but the mailing list button seemed to be such a strong focal point...a different style and color tone compared with the rest of the page. Maybe that is the main point of the site---to collect addresses---but if it isn't, it might be ok to put it in a less distracting spot. Also, I had tons of fun playing with the different options for the navigation bar. There are all kinds of colors and styles and roll over options. You have a really interesting site and I am definitely looking forward to seeing how it all comes out! Have fun!

Have you noticed how the last bit of text on your pages is as low as the page will go? If you go back and edit in a dot in a text box about a half inch below the last of your text it will give your page a bottom border and
give the text at the bottom a little elbow room. Also if you don't want the dot to show, you can change the fount color (of the dot) to the same as the background. If you want to see my dot (not invisible) on my pages.
http://www.circuspet.com I like the larger text

Hey Bill,
I was A coffee addict for over 30yrs, drinking 15-20 cups a day. Now in the early winter of my life, I find myself with a sick stomach and very high blood preasure. I have just switched to tea, I don't like it as much so I don't drink too much, 3-5 cups a day. My stomach is grateful, but my
constitution has been affected. Perhaps you could recomend one of yours

How about a nice Gun Powder Green or a Cinnamom flaovored tea ? Both are reputed to be very healthy. Another similar to Green tea is Silver White Tips (look under Rare) and Indian Herbal Exclusive known to build immunity, tone up the digestive system, and strengthen nerves. You'll find all 4 in Green, Rare, Flavored and Exclusive at: http://www.blueearthtea.com/Storeloose.html

I can deliver anywhere.

I drink a tea called 'Lady grey' the brits will know it. it is earl grey tea with a hint of citrus - made very weak if you do not like tea it is subtle way to start, end and help the day.

there are many ways to get search on a site. when using content management solusions like phpwcms(like used on y site) you can deploy it to search with the click of the button.

Otherwise:
you can get webbot untilities which search your site
try http://www.bravenet.com/webtools/search2/index.php
or http://javascript.internet.com/misce...ch-source.html

Hey man, great job! I like the simplicity you put into it. I tend to get too detailed with my own work, but I have a long way to go until I learn the art of "less is more". :)

Good luck!

I think it is something i have to learn too - i tend to have sites start out good but get a little messy when i get a bit too much content

I am a photographer part time. so i do a little bit of commercial work most of my work is for an amberlence service so i get a bit of excitment.

I am starting to do more photography work and slowly overtime I may do it full time but at the moment my little sideline business brings in a little extra cash to fund my camera gear.

I am glad you like my work!
