Hey!

I am really in the middle of building my website and I shouldn't of published it right away - yes, I was to excited to get it published, hehe - anyway ... I just wanted to know if it's a good idea to put a hit counter on my index site.

Hi Jeremy,

I think it's a matter of personal preference. I like it because I like to see how many people have visited my site without logging in to my cpanel. Some like it for their business as it shows how popular your website is to visitors.

I always take notice of Bethers advice and I dont think that she is too keen on hit counters....your AW stats can give you lots of figures...

I like it. I would center tour nav bar, its all the way to the right. I also have to agree with David above. Bethers is really good. I started mine before it was ready. The good thing is you can get feedback to help develop it. I am still trying to get feedback myself, its not that easy. Good luck with your site.

I agree in that I would loose the counter. Also, I actually prefer the nav bar on the right, it is easy to click and it is different, however, I would center your page and check your page width. It seems a little wide, but centering it may help to. I think it's a great looking site and you've done a very good job! Good luck with it.
