Hi Bruce: You've been busy putting your home page together haven't you? The words are a little small and all run together. Not sure if most people will take the time to read it all. Honestly, If I came across it, there is nothing that really grabbed me to say, "Read all that I have written". I did in this case and became a little more interested. I did find a mis spelled word, "We say, what have you got to lose, by sing Webbrok, I think you meant to say "using" instead of "sing". I would work on your navigation bars as they are hard to read and center your pages.

Your links did take me to your construction page. I look forward to seeing the rest of the content in your site, but In general I would work on the home page a bit more. Possibly fewer words, slightly larger font, and formatted a little different.

Keep it going because I do think you have something to offer. Good luck and have fun with it!!

Hi Bruce,
I know what it is like being eager to get the site going, and so you have put a lot of stuff on the home page.

You have to grab the viewers attention, with an uncluttered front page, that makes the surfer want to see more.

I agree that you have too much on your home page. There is not even a one line space between paragraphs. I would suggest that you plan to split the content over a number of pages.

Your graphics and the green banner are attention grabbing. But if I were to be very picky, I can see that you have not kept the original proportions of the brown earth globe and the laptops. It is better to crop the pics first, rather than stretch or squash them.

I can see that you have spent a lot of good time writing the copy for the "about" page. It's good, but perhaps it would be better to put about 5 headings in bullet points first. Then discuss each point separately after the reader has had time to digest the headings.

Have fun, and don't lose the drive because of these comments. You should have seen how I got panned after my first attempt.

Regards

I agree with the others. There is a lot on the page, probably too much. The font is very hard for me to read,I tried to read all on the first link but got tired from the print and if I enlarged it, there was too much overlap and no back to top button or any escape. Spell check for sure, in the beginning I think it is, further life or whatever. It is true don't take these comment's so much to heart as just back to the drawing board and re-think your great ideas. Slow down and it will be a great site.

Hi Bruce,

Your site has great potential, with a little planning it will look great, at the moment your cramming to much onto one page,

Take one stage at a time... first of all you need to set your page widths so that your site wont have a sideways scroll .. people dont mind scrolling up and down but not sideways..click on the link below to do this ...it will save you a lot of hard work later on.

Also I would have a separate page for the "free stuff" and only use clear images the laptop one at the top of the page looks stretched and blurred.

Your menu bar at the top is dark and you have dark font on it to which makes it impossible for people to read it also overlaps

Last of all ..it looks better and more professional if you carry the same look/theme throughout the site..colours, templates etc.

Hope this helps..good luck ..keep tweaking :o)
