I am new to this so my first question of many is....
I have registered my domain name as giteducalme.com, should I have just registered giteducalme, because when I type giteducalme on google it does not find me, but when I type in giteducalme.com it finds me, have I .commed to many!!!!! Many Many thanks to anyone who might have done the same thing!!!

You registered correctly.*.com is the more popular suffix or extension, it stands for commercial.
