Thread: How long til Voda domains register?

Have I just started a 24 hour waiting period? I had heard it mentioned that new domain names purchased from Voda should work straight with my hosting package but... I guess I'm mistaken?

No it does not, you have to configure it, you must login and update your name servers, if you do not know how to do this, please submit a support ticket and we will do it for you.

i have just bought a new domain name via my vodahost account. i set up the folder in add ons in cp ok, and also updated the server details when i logged into my account.

i have just published an index page to that folder and i am still getting the who is page. however, i only did all this half an hour ago, does it take time? if so, roughly how long before i will see my index?

Is it one of the two in your signature? If so- they are both working now.

Usually it is pretty quick once you have all the basics done. But it could take a few hours to propogate through the dns servers.

cheers mate, no its not one listed, i just noticed in my account under the [?] info that it is being processed. just always worried that i havent done something i should of, lol, will leave it till tomorrow and see how it is.
