Thread: PDF - Help please

Hi guys,

a friend of us sent a thread about pdf, but we didn't go anywhere so far, anyway my situation is:

I want to put a pdf file which contain more thn 100 page, and thought that making it to be downloadable would take several minutes.

what I want to do is, put a link of a pdf file in my page and when a visitor click on it, it will open automaticaly with in acrobat.

my questions are:

1 - how to do the above process?
2 - (in some webites, when there is a pdf file, you see an icon of a pdf shown where you click) should I create a similar one or there is any automatic way in Blue Voda to get it?

The PDF file should always open in the browser if the Adobe PDF Reader plugin is installed but it will still take the same time to open as it will to download. The file size is the same which ever way you do it.

To create a PDF you need Adobe Acrobat Software (not Acrobat Reader) but some professional paint programs also create PDF's)

You can get the icon from anywhere but I would recommend using one of these from the Adobe site (scroll down when you get there. Just copy it using right mouse click then add it to your site.

what you mean about installed? where? in the computer where the visitor is opening the page or I have to place the file as plugin in my page?
