Thread: How to publish my subdomain?

I have a domain called www.anp.no , and have created a subdomain called records.anp.no
I 've made all the sites ready, and I dont know how to publish it??

In the publish dialog box, in the field "Folder" type in "public_html/records"

I can see your subdomain: click on http://www.anp.no/records/

Yet, yes, you are wright, it doesn't come up as www.records.anp.no which means that you probably created manually the subfolder, and not though the subdomain creation wizard in your CP. You need to enter CP and create the subdomain "records" by clicking on "Subdomains" and following the wizard.

A subdomain is not simply a folder, it has to be declared to the DNS system as subdomain, and this is automatically done by following the wizard.

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean? I was creating my subdomain in the CP first. There is something about redirection in there, should I have done something with that?

Sorry but i don't think i'm able to help anymore, at least not wwitout loging in your account. If you have created the subdomain through CP, by now it should be showing by clicking on www.records.anp.no . It doesn't so i don't know what is going wrong. If you wish, use my form to send me your login details (IP address, username, password), and i'll have an inside look.

You will find your subdomain

I have tried to recreate your subdomain, but for some reason, it will not be declared in the DNS system as it should. Result: you do see the folder, but it doesn't work as a subdomain as it should. You had done everything correctly on your side, so at this point i suggest that you submit a support ticket.
