Addon domain fine. Which index title, username/password main or addon to publish?

Once you have setup a addon domain, have nameservers with VodaHost and everything is showing fine. Do you just setup a new index page and what title should additional index pages for new domain names be given, then which username and password should be used in publishing on new domains, the main account or the addon username and password. Just want to be sure of which details to enter to publish correctly on addon domains.

Hi,

You will setup another index page (save it as index again) and publish it to the add-on domain. When you publish you will use the main account username and password.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks very much for the info. But when I try to save a 2nd page in BlueVoda with the same title, in this case index, it won't allow the file name to be the same unless the file is being replaced just the way most file names must be different. So, I'm not sure if I should name it index2 etc. for addon domains. Please advise so there are no problems.

One more question to add to this, how do you publish it to the add-on domain, as it automatically brings up the main account Server IP, Username and Password which is connected and goes to the main account domain. If anyone is passing through this thread that has dealt with this addon domain situation and knows the answer to these questions, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Create a seperate folder inside of bluevoda and save the index page into this.

In order to publish to the addon domain please follow the directions given under the following video:
