Thread: email - CNAME entries

I need to change my email so I can access it behind different clients firewalls. I contacted Domain Direct and they told me to change my mx record (which I did) and the CNAME entries. Unfortunately, I can not find where I can get to the Zone file or CNAME entries.

The changes are:

If you would like to continue to use Domain Direct email services while
being hosted by a different DNS server other than Domain Direct, the new
host will need to create 3 records in the Zone file for the domain, 1 MX
record change and 2 CNAME entries.

The MX record should look like this:

;;ANSWER SECTION:
tcd-group.com 8H IN MX 10 inbound.tcd-group.com.emailmx.com


The CNAME entries should look like this:

mail.tcd-group.com IN CNAME mail.tcd-group.com.emailmx.com
smtp.tcd-group.com IN CNAME smtp.tcd-group.com.emailmx.com
