Thread: Email for domain

Hey im pretty sure it said somewear that I will recieve an email saying that my site is ready. I already payed for it and all then got an email with the reciept. It seems i have like two different passwords in two different emails.A log in password and a vbs password. Ive tried them both when publishing and it says invalid password. Now is my site just not ready to work yet? Will there be another email coming to me telling me when its ready? It said within 24 hours but how long did it approx take you guys to get it to work?

A username, password and IP address are in your welcome email. Make sure you use the correct IP address when attempting to publish.

Oh ok because I don't think ive got the welcome email yet. Just the reciept showing I paid and all. Does it usually take a long time to get it? I mean I know it says 24 hours but a lot of things say that and its usually within minutes.

It usually takes less than 24 hours, but it depends on how busy the VH staff are. When did you register your account?

You said you'd received two emails, what was in the other?

I just payed for it like 2-3 hours ago.

oh sorry i did a forgot my pass thing because the other wasnt working and it sent me the login pass. the reciept is the vbs pass

Okay, it'll be a while then; this type of thing isn't as simple as someone just pushing a button. Take the time to look over your pages one more time before you publish. I know it's an anxious waiting game, but you'll be online soon.

I know, we say 24 hours and sometimes we do it in 20 minutes, but let's
keep to the 24 hour rule and that way no one is disappointed and everyone
is pleasantly surprised.
