DNS nameservers question

1. i had a site at a different host (which was junk) the name was kdcalls.us.....it's less than 60 days old so I cant transfer to Voda yet...

2. I also purchased a new domain here kdcallsonline.com

Here's the trouble....when visiting the vodahost domain....only the new domain is listed...under dns is a green check.....i cant change the servers to voda...there's no configure button like the tutorials show

so the obvious questions are....why isnt kdcalls.us listed...and dont I have to manually set the servers on the new domain?

Hi Kurt,

Put in a support ticket and also your welcome letter should have the info on where to change the dns servers and your login for that page. If you still ahve nto gotten an answer, post back and let's see if we can't get your problem resolved.

Oh and also do a search on the forum...i know there are several posts on this subject.

I was told to use the control panel to add it....tried failed many times

then I tried to add the name name I got here...kdcallsonline.com......tried failed.....

this cant be this complex

the voda domain page only shows the new name.....but I cant configure the servers......and the ones listed aren't voda"s

the only thing that ive gotten to work is the website software

In your welcome letter we told you to update your name servers to point your domain name to VodaHost. YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS YET......The reason kdcalls.us does not work yet is because it is still pointed at your old host, Click the below and you will see it is still pointed at start logic...

Call up your previous host and tell them to point kdcalls.us to the below, they will know exactly what to do and your domain name will be be fully functional within 6 hours.

In order for the name servers to be changed in the video...the domain would have to show up in the vodahost domain page.....there in lies the problem...its not there....then i was told I had to add the domain via the cpanel......tried...didnt work.....

OK im going to call them...but one last question before i hang up

I also purchased a new domain thinking it would be less of a hassle

this name shows up on the vodahost domain page...i click it to change the servers to vodas

there's no configure button

Maybe it's because it's not processed yet? havent recieved the welcome letter on this new name
