Propogation time

When I switched nameservers for my Lost Dutchman site last week it was done in a matter of a couple minutes.

Changed Cust-M-Cartoons tonight and it's been over an hour and change has not been made.

Having worked for ******* for a while, I know they say it can take up to 24 hours to propagate, but last time it went so fast, I'm a little worried.

Any thoughts?

They tell you 24 hours, and mostly get done sooner. but, this IS Saturday night.. I would't worry til 24hours is done.

Thanks! I'm a big of a "worry wart" when it comes to this site. Can't wait to get it totally over to VH.

I did my pinata site on the 4th of July - and like you, got worried - after a couple hours, I shut off my puter - went to bed - it was working when I checked in the morning.

On my EA site - I screwed up the name to my php header and got a fatal error - which took me 3 days to figure out that I couldn't name my header header LOL I won't make that mistake again :)

And I just looked and yours is UP!

Just stick to the 24 hour rule and life will be worry free, consider anything under 24 hours a bonus.

Beth -- I have cleared history and all I can see is my original SOI home page!! Why can you see my new page and I can't?

Are you clearing history or refreshing your page. You may be looking at a cached page.

Did both Rick. Even tried viewing the new site on my laptop (after clearing history and refreshing. Can't see it.

Yes I did. Are you seeing page with bright blue background or white background? White is old StoresOnline site.
