Default Same Domain Name Except .com or .net

Hi

I am wondering how it is you work out having the same name for two add-on domains in your account with the exception that one is a .net and the other is a .com ... remember, these are add-on domains and neither is the main domain of the account.

I know you can add them on separately, but where do you apply the difference in publishing - to what folder? Both are named the same?

How is it you can separate these two domains and be able to publish and keep separately within the file manager, etc.?

Thanks for any explanation anyone can offer.

I
When adding the addon domain, in the field marked

Quote:
Username/directory/subdomain Name:
set a different subdomain name for each, most likely adding the .com or .net at the end. Then they're easy to differentiate.

The folder names do not have to be the same.

Makes sense to me now that I understand the folder does not have to be named the same. I suppose I was stuck in the path of things, glad you both shovelled it out of the way for me, lots of snow here if you would like to continue shovelling, lol

I love those, he said, I said, she said, so she now says, thank you both very much and what he said, I said, who was really another he said, was very clear!! Who said that? lol
