Hi, if it’s a particular great name & it’s what you want, NO! But domains are more often brought on there track record & how they are performing with the SE’s as a running site. This is what you should be paying for. If it’s not the greatest name, you maybe better purchasing one for 15 to 20 Dollars & spending $3900 on good promotion. Good luck.

I think it would depend on what the domain name is and what it's page rank is, but there's no way on this planet that I would ever consider paying anywhere near that for a domain name. I think it's too much money.

Page rank does not mean that much (It does mean something), If he wants $3900 , there must be a reason....Could the reason be that he knows how bad you want it?????
