Default Domain Transfer Assistance

Can you please let me know what next steps I might assist a client with to be able to have the domain transferred to voda servers? Hosting account has been approved with Voda, welcome email containing all information has been received. ty

Here is the response from the current hosting company

We will approve any transfer requests that your new host sends through, so
our being listed as administrator shouldn't be a problem.
The only other thing I can see happening is that they are trying to
register the domain elsewhere, currently it is registered with *******.
They should be able to simply initiate the transfer, which we would
approve as we know it's your wish, and then it would be released to them.

Sorry this all seems so complicated!

yes, yes it is, the one we spoke about yesterday

Okay, so the flaw in that from what I can see is the current registrar is saying they do not need to transfer this administrative contact into the "VodaHost Brand New Customers Name" but you are saying this is necessary.

So advice, would then be to again go back to this registrar and demand this action, because alternatively this cannot be done?

Is that how I read this ...

The administrative contact is the person who controls the domain and the only person who can approve a transfer.

Okay, we now have that accomplished. But I am afraid we no longer have 72 hrs to make this change, so I think I will be working with just pointing the domain to voda servers and leave it where it is at ... didn't necessarily want to do that, but we have one day left only to get up a new site ...

But now, my question remains about the ip publishing address??
Can you look into that for me .... I appreciate all of your help to make this as smooth as possible for her ... ty

75.126.170.225 (ns25 & ns26)
This ip publishing address does not show up in my BV9 - should it? or does it need to be replaced with another ip addy ?

75.126.170.225 is a dedicated IP adress, publishing to it is not a requirement. Please publish to the normal shared Ip address.
