    Default Redirect Advice

    David Lee
    www.ethanwain.com

    I am trying to redrect www.endurawarmth.com to www.endurawarm.com and cannot get it to work. I own both of these domains and am working with them. The tutorial is not clear to me. Please give me precise instruction on how to enter the domain names in Redirect on the Control Panel.

    Ladyeye,

    To redirect a page you only need the -
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="0;URL=http://www.endurawarm.com">
    The other one-
    <meta name="verify-v1" content="kXeaetyMGEBlOydBmTdNmuboqhF3MqgkjbU/ft8IgA8=" />
    I did some searching on google an found that it has to do with google site maps. This is used to verify to google that you are the owner of the site. At least- that is what I found when I did a google search on meta name="verify-v1"

    See these links-

    Ah thanks for the explanation Andy ... you kind of had me worried there ... but this does make sense as the person that gave me the script is very very knowledgeable, reliable and likely feels maybe that the addition of that is also a very good thing.

    tks for checking it out ... appreciate it ...

    (It all came part and parcel to me that way, lol)

    Davidlee999-

    Just one more thing for maybe future use. The 0 in the scritp represents seconds. Therefore- if you want the page to appear and then re-direct set if for 3 to 5 seconds. Play around with it and see how it works.

    An example- lets say you have a page that is "Under Construction" You could the have that display and then it would automatically re-direct to another page.

    Just FYI
